What is your fave sci-fi weapon of choice?

my bad. The term I was looking for was in between suns. Intergalactic was such a piss poor word to use, but the only one I could find.

Lightsaber - other cool stuff are available, but nothing close to the lightsaber.

Okay - Death Star - may say that is probably a little bit more powerful compared to a light-saber - but it is so difficult having in the pocket - when you are going out....

Depense of how you define a weapon.....but I agree - I do not think it was this kind of weapons.

those little blue humming rod things that the Blue Sun Corporation guys from Firefly use to kill people. theyre neat because 1. they look like pens and not real weapons, 2. you dont have to aim them, just hold it near them, 3. nobody else has said it yet, and 4. theyre from Firefly, which as we all know is the best show in the 'verse

Light saber is used like a sword, so would be useless against laser pulses repeated in nano seconds.

Superman's heat vision is based on high intensity xrays and on Smallville tv show he could disintegrate a bullet (lead.)

interstellar is between stars, intergalatic between Galaxies a very large group of stars perhaps as many as 100,000,000,000 or more per Galaxy.
