My vote is for my all time favorite: the grav rifle. Firing 3mm tear drop shaped depleated uranium rounds at relativistic speeds; its power is unmatched for a standard weapon (not specialized like a terra watt laser). Each tear drop goes so fast as to rip the ions from the atmosphere it travels through, and the gun fires the drops so fast as to make the weapon seem like it is a laser. Records of the rounds passing through 3-5 rows of horse sized creatures, and making the front rows virtually explode are numerous. Each round has a dollop of antimatter at its base that more than provides enough energy to allow the ridiculous speeds. With virtually no recoil (or no recoil), the expensive weapon can be use by anything that can figure out how to operate it.
This thing makes nearly all reliable infantry weapon look like a beebee gun or worse. It is itself reliable, firing after being at the heart of a nuclear explosion.

yes they are, and your stupid for thinking otherwise. No weapon on Earth can be thrown and have the blade's cut through everything that it makes contact with, and return convieniantly Blades poised outwards to the thrower
