best rock band EVER

I was wondering...who do you think is the greatest rock band of all time?...NOT your favourite rock band...the greatest...I would say led zeppelin...mostly because of their awesome songs and wicked guitar riffs...and robert plant is incredible.

Ever is Black Sabbath. Them and the Beatles are the reason for ALL ROCK music but Black Sabbath had more of an effect on the heavier bands and that's what I prefer. Yes Led Zeppelin was a great band but guess why they got started. Probably Sabbath or the Beatles.

Didn't Zeppelin come out before Sabbath? They're also better than them too.

i believe led zeppelin's first album was in 1969 and black sabbath's was in 1970

uhhhh AC\DC made great music they r all time bands

but what about all the great bands that came out before ac/dc?...bands like the beatles, sabbath, and zeppelin started things off for rock music...
