Bar the fact he is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. Every tiny minute happening in the universe has his fullest attention.

I'm gonna squeeze extra hard next time I poo, knowing that God's paying extra special attention. Feces for Jesus!

Or, he is just a man made idea.

He isn't paying special attention, just it has as much attention as anything else he is doing...I suspect.

gave and opinion and present it as FACT, kinda like you did.

So you're saying that you suspect he pays attention to my poo?!

I absolutely adore where I've been able to take this discussion.

😊

Actually you didn't present it as fact.

Well...on DISCUSSION boards in the religion forum discussing an issue called prayers aren't answered I thought that all the users would have known what my opinions were and I didn't have to clarify every statement with IMO at the end...

And Sym owned you anyway...

erm, i did present it as fact, i made a claim concerning reality without alluding to it being sarcasm or being just plain wrong. does one have to say "i present the statement preceeding this as fact" to present sumthing as fact?

Prayers are answered, ALWAYS. But sometimes we don't get the answer we want, or hear the answer we recieve.

In that case, please tell me: why won’t god heal amputees ? As in EVER?

Not all prayers could be answeared right away it takes time. And sometimes it is not possible for the prayer to come true.

But some people supposedly have prayers come true. But no amputee has EVER regrown a limb after praying to god about it.

Maybe God did not think it was the right time or there was a reason he did not grant that prayer. As some people say some stuff happen for a reason.

It seems bizarre to me that when there exists the possibility of ANY ambiguity (for example, surviving a plane crash, finding your lost car keys, etc), people accept this as prayers getting answered. When all doubt and ambiguity is removed though, such as with amputees begging for their limbs to regrow, god NEVER answers prayers.

Saying “things happen for a reason” as an explanation sounds a little like burying your head in the sand…

I believe that it does.It makes sence. How is it burying your head in the sand?

If you were to pray for god to make a 6 sided dice role a 7, and then I rolled the dice, and it came up as a 7, would you think the pray was answered, or that I had a trick dice?

That would be a silly thing to pray for.I am talking about praying for people who had dead or ill or something personal.

Because there probably is no God(s)?

right, like the holocaust, mao, stalin, armenian genocide, ww1 and 2, terrorism, sudan, congo, burma, north korea...

God thought all these things needed to happen, and for a reason. God's reason.

Thus, God is responsible for all these things

isn't that just the tops?

No I did not say that God is responsible for those things. They happen and they are over with.So why go on blaming him for it?We all have free well which means we make our own choices and they happen reather good or bad.
