When did Thing recently beat Doom?

Going by portrayals, Doom's been more than a match for the entire F4 in a fight for years.

But guess what, all this STILL DOES NOT MATTER, and if Jake objects because of his "continuity" argument, I got PROOF from Marvel's top dog that "continuity" don't mean sh|t.

@Jake, sadly, I have to somewhat concur brah. I've seen some quotes from Brevoort and others over there would leave you scratching your head. They don't give a phuck about continuity. To put it in perspective, remember Rick Remender's comments regarding Psylocke's lack of tk? That's a philosophy pretty much the status quo over there nowadays.

Of course how this all fits into what we do here in the vs forums is prolly another matter.

Those feats from page ago should've definitively ended the thing/namor strength comparison in namors favor. What are we still discussing?

Sue happens to be the most powerful member of the FF. Especially when bloodlusted. She'd wreck Ben, too. Her forcefields are more durable than him and she's just too versatile and skilled in using her power.

Wasn't Surfer beat with a sucker shot?

Namor performed better against Wolverine than Grimm did, too.

AVX, Thing's punch> Namor's punch
Uncanny X-Men: wet Namor can not prevail over what
AVX 5, Grimm blocks Namor
FF149, Ben defeats Namor

compare the feat is useless if there are any direct clashes

Now that doesn't mean past events have no weight. They do, just not as much as current events. Currently Ben is stronger than in the past
