"All right Boba, ease it on this one here."
Boba nodded and carefully adjusted the controls, allowing the ship to slowly descend atop the building. It was a large rooftop, even for Coruscant, but Boba did not dare question what his father was doing, rather he minded when instructed. Obedience was what his father wanted, and in return Boba wanted to be a great bounty hunter like his father.
"Someday I will", Boba thought as the ship touched the ground.
"All right, you wait here and keep your eyes open, you may have to man the guns on this one, alright?"
Boba's eyes and mouth lit up at the mention of the guns. Although he had only used them a few times, he loved every moment when he was behind the controls of Slave 1. And if he could truly save his father's life, he would earn enough respect for more responsibilities, bounty hunter or other.
Jango left the ship, turning around every few steps to check to see if he could see Boba, and he could not. He smiled and put his helmet on, trusting the boys size to hide him and skill to save him. Up ahead he could see the shadowy figure walking toward him and for one of the few times in his life, he was actually afraid.
Something was not right here, he was supposed to meet a potential employer, but he felt something. Something, evil, yet, familiar. Jango looked south and saw the bright yellow eyes of Darth Maul. Although he could not see the face, he knew it was Darth Maul, based on those bright yellow-orange and rage filled eyes. Jango froze for a moment as Maul's tattooed face and horns emerged from underneath a dark hood.
"Jango Fett, you have failed my master for the last time," Maul attempted to say, but Jango was no fool.
Already did he begin flying backward on his jetpack and began shooting wildly with his blaster pistols. Although Jango had surprised Maul, Maul had one thing Jango could not compete with, the force. Maul lashed his hand outward sent a powerful grip around Jango's neck, crushing his throat with the powers of the dark side. Maul could feel the dark energy in his soul increasing as Jango began to perish.
The last thing Jango saw before the darkness took him was a blinding red light moving faster than anything he had seen. Maul's force choke was broken as Slave 1's laser cannons whizzed by Jango Fett and struck a few meters near Darth Maul. Maul was flung backward from the force of the explosions and over the side of the building. Boba rushed out of Slave 1 and met his crawling father.
“Dad!” Boba screamed, using the adrenaline flow to help his father up to his feet and drag him along. “Dad, are you okay?”
Jango coughed and wheezed, “I’ll be fine once we’re out of here.”
Boba helped Jango to the pilot seat then strapped himself into his chair. Jango was slowly readying the ship to leave, still coughing a bit as he went. Finally he got the ship off the ground and they began to join the traffic. Just as the light signaled to go, Darth Maul’s light saber suddenly broke open the cockpit, missing Jango by a matter of inches. Jango tilted the ship and knocked Maul backward, just enough to send him over the edge. Boba flipped two switches then pressed a small button and another layer of glass covered the broken one.
“Good work Boba, now let’s finish him,” Jango said, bringing the ship down after Maul’s falling body. “Almost, whoa what?”
“Where is he?” Boba cried.
“I don’t know,” Jango said, leveling the ship out. “But he,” Jango began to say, before noticing incoming blaster shots from behind.
Jango dodged past the oncoming laser bolts, that strangely enough, had no source. Jango could only think of one thing, cloaking device, and a good one at that. Jango took control of the guns and began firing rapidly while dodging the lasers. After the third hit to the ship, the Sith Infiltrator’s cloaking device and shields managed not to work anymore.
Maul dipped downward and began to evade the oncoming traffic, but Jango was close behind. Jango was readying the controls when he turned over to Boba, who was eagerly watching.
“Boba, get him,” to which Boba turned for a second almost as if he didn’t hear his father. “Now!” Jango screamed.
Boba took control of the guns, immediately scoring with a few light hits on the back of the Infiltrator, but it was too little to do any serious harm. Maul began spiraling down and under, then back and over the rows of traffic, but Jango stayed with him, as did Boba’s guns. Closer they were getting it seemed, the Infiltrator was losing some of it’s speed until it eventually appeared to stop. Jango skillfully navigated past the frozen ship, which suddenly burst into flames as they flew underneath.
Sweat poured down the backs of both Fetts as the heat from the flames enveloped the ship. Luckily, they still had enough speed and a tough enough ship to continue. A large clunking noise at the back of the ship brought back the same worry Jango felt when Maul was around.
“Boba, take this,” Jango said, passing one of his blasters toward Boba. “Drop him if he should,” Jango stopped, throwing Boba out of his seat and himself backward as Darth Maul’s saber came through the window again. This time Maul came too, but Jango quickly wrestled him down while Boba went for the controls. Boba managed to stabilize the ship before Maul’s whip like kick knocked the lad out.
Jango’s fatherly urges sent him into a rage that Maul hadn’t expected and the Sith was unable to get to his light saber. Maul managed to kick Jango’s knee, dropping it to the ground, but the helmet of the bounty hunter proved to be much to hard. Maul then shoved Jango back with a hard side kick to the chest.
Jango grabbed his knee in pain, but managed to reach his blaster and begin firing it at the Sith. Mauls’ light saber proved to be to quick for the bolts which were quickly deflected back. Both Jango’s legs and one of his arms were hit as they struck him. Just as Maul made the finishing blow, he felt three sharp pains in his back. He turned to attempt to stop the next three with his light saber, but it was no use, he was dead.
Boba scurried across the floor and ripped his father’s helmet off. He pulled with all of his strength and nearly lifted his father to his feet. Jango opened his eyes and gave a slight smile.
“You’re in charge of the ship now…Boba… make me proud,” Jango said.
Boba bowed his head as the tears began to swell up, then looked up to find his father’s frozen head.
Boba turned around and took control of the ship, almost as if he were possessed by a foreign body. There was a grim determination inside of him, and a hatred that could only be satisfied by making his father’s memory live on. Slave 1 suddenly fired off of Coruscant, on course for a small desert planet. Boba could start his life there through his father’s contacts. A hutt lives there, who knows, maybe he’d have some jobs for Boba.

Excellent work.
Hey guys this is the second chapter of my story hope it pleases.(not that way) when the character names are in all caps that means they're thinking
Unholy Terror
a Makashiman story
chapter two Sparring
Twenty-two years after the remaining Jedi defeated the Sith on Mustafar
the Jedi Order has flourished and is once again allowed to grow to it's ancient former strength. Luke Skywalker has become a very powerful
Knight of the Gaurdian class under the training of Obi-Wan Kenobi and has inherited his father's lack of focus. Kalzar Toladaa a friend of Skywalker's trained with Luke since birth and became a Knight of the Sentinel class and was Yoda's padawan. But lately Luke seems troubled and especially aggressive during missions or sparring matches...
Yoda; Gather round Jedi, sparring duels today we have.
Luke; So Kalzar you ready to lose again? Luke teased.
Kalzar; Don't be too sure of yourself Luke, me and you have always been equal in saber dueling and the force.
Luke; Oh don't worry about our even record. That will change today. Skywalker teasing again.
Kalzar; We'll see. Kalzar said with a calm demeanor even though a grin was trying to break free from his human face.
Luke; Anyways. You should really abandon your Makashi training and take interest in a more practical form.
Kalzar; Not after the years of training I've put into it. Makashi works well in current situations.
Yoda; Skywalker. Toladaa. Your positions you must take.
Luke and Kalzar walk out on the arena floor and prepare. Luke ignites his emerald lightsaber and takes the normal Shien stance with saber in both hands pointed up and away. Kalzar draws his curved hilt to his right hand, his fighting hand and ignites his golden saber taking the archaic Makashi stance. Saber facing the opponent.
Yoda; Begin.
Luke hearing this, quickly takes the offense and shows his proficiency in the Shien form by making wide, powerful, and accurate slashes. Kalzar went comfortably into the defensive, blocking and parrying all of Luke's attacks and showing extreme skill in the Makashi form.
Luke had been delivering swift attacks but Kalzar simply parried them away. Luke felt extreme frustration and hate.
LUKE; What's wrong with me? Kalzar is my friend not some Mandalorian or Sith Lord.
Kalzar decided to change the tide of the battle and took the offense. Luke seemed to be doing well against all of Kalzar's quick slashes and manuevers.
LUKE; Thats it! I've had it! This ends now.
Luke then let's go and delivers a powerful force push sending his friend back aways.
Kalzar was a little surprised by this but payed no attention to his aches and decided to end the battle right there and then. Kalzar took the offense again and was starting to wear down Lukes defenses. Luke felt tired now but also felt something very strange like..the dark side congratulating him. Kalzar then used the force grasp and brought Luke up infront of him. Luke feeling himself being taken dropped his lightsaber and was now at the mercy of his friend. Kalzar then released his friend.
Kalzar; You ok?
Luke; Don't worry, I'll be fine. Good duel.
But Luke wasn't fine Kalzar thought to himself. There is something wrong....the dark side.
CHAPTER 1: Follow the Light
“I know what has been troubling you . . . Listen to me. Don't continue to be a pawn of the Jedi Council! Ever since I've known you, you've been searching for a life greater than that of an ordinary Jedi . . . a life of significance, of conscience.”
“You’re wrong!” Anakin assured the Sith Lord.
“Are you going to kill me?” Palpatine asked, turning his back on Anakin.
“I would certainly like to,” Anakin replied, barely managing to control his anger.
“I know you would, I can feel your anger, It gives you focus, makes you stronger,” Palpatine’s voice droned, aging slightly as his poisonous words continued to confuse Anakin.
He’s a Sith Lord! How could I leave him alive? But he could help me save Padme. But I’m a Jedi… Padme… The dreams, about her birth, they’re getting worse and… Wait. I had those dreams about my mother, and gave into my hate as a result of it. She never would have wanted that, and neither would Padme.
“I’m turning you over to the Jedi council,” Anakin said firmly, deactivating his light saber and stepping back a few steps.
“ Of course you should. But you're not sure of their intentions, are you? What if I am right and they are plotting to take over the Republic?”
“I will quickly discover the truth of all this,” Anakin assured both himself and the Chancellor.
“You have great wisdom, Anakin. Know the power of the dark side. The power to save Padme.”
Anakin paused for a moment, still confused about what to do, but Palpatine turned and walked back to his office. Anakin turned and walked away, his mind racing with confusion.
As quickly as he could, Anakin hurried back to the Jedi temple where he found Master Windu in a hangar, where he and several other Jedi were boarding a ship.
“Master Windu, I must talk to you.”
“What is it, Skywalker? We are in a hurry. We have just received word that Obi-Wan has destroyed General Grievous. We are on our way to make sure the Chancellor returns emergency powers back to the Senate.”
“He won’t give up his power. I’ve just learned a terrible truth. Chancellor Palpatine is a Sith Lord.”
“A Sith Lord?” Master Windu asked in astonishment.
“Yes Master. The one we’ve been looking for.”
“How do you know this?” Mace asked suspiciously.
“He knows the ways of the force, he’s been trained to use the dark side.”
“Are you sure?” Mace asked.
“Absolutely,” Anakin said without hesitation.
“Then our worst fears have been realized,” Mace said as he started for a ship. “We must move quickly if the Jedi order is to survive.”
“Master, the Chancellor is very powerful. You will need my help if you are going to arrest him.”
“For your own good, stay out of this affair. I sense a great deal of confusion in you, young Skywalker. There is much fear that clouds your judgment.”
“I must go, Master,” Anakin pleaded.
“No. If what you have told me is true then you have gained my trust, but for now remain here.”
“Yes Master,” Anakin submitted.
“Wait for us in the Council Chamber until we return,” Mace said, climbing into the side of the ship with three fellow Jedi Masters.
Anakin sat in the cushioned chair in the Jedi Council Chamber, thinking of how he had wanted to have these seats for so long, and then it hit him. Palpatine didn’t give him that position to have his voice heard, he was merely trying to drive a wedge between Anakin and the Jedi.
I know they frustrate me, especially Master Windu, but they are still my family in the force. I cannot turn my back on them. I won’t!
Anakin rose to his feet, with the force flowing through him, and with it a new determination. He left the Jedi temple and hopped into his speeder, making his way to the Chancellor’s office.
Nearly out of the cockpit before it landed, Anakin wasted no time in hurrying to the Chancellors office. The elevator felt as if time had been standing still. Adrenaline, anxiety, the force, and a strong presence of the dark side was surrounding everything as the elevator ascended. Anakin kept focus on the force, the true force that the dark side could never stop.
When the doors opened he immediately sensed Master Windu and the Chancellor near the precipice. He scurried out there to see Master Windu standing over Palpatine, the purple saber inches away from the Chancellor’s face.
“You are under arrest my Lord,” Mace said in a mocking tone.
“Anakin! I told you it would come to this. I was right. The Jedi are taking over.”
Anakin noted the fear in Palpatine’s voice, but for some reason Anakin didn’t think it was Mace Palpatine was worried about.
“The oppression of the Sith will never return. Your plot to regain control of the Republic is over . . .” Mace said grimly. “You have lost.”
No! No!” Palpatine said, his voice growing old and deep. “You will die!” his words echoed throughout the office as they were accompanied by a sudden blast of dark blue lightning from his hands.
Mace’s saber managed to block the lightning, but it was beginning to force him back. Palpatine begged to Anakin to help him, and Mace did the same while repelling the Chancellor’s dark powers. Anakin knew of those powers all too well. He remembered when Dooku had done that to him, then sliced his arm off.
As if he were guided by something other than himself, Anakin had drawn his light saber and brought it downward toward Palpatine’s head. Palpatine’s lightning had a grip around Mace’s saber, and the Sith used it to bring Mace’s blade forward to block Anakin’s swing. Suddenly the Sith Lord was up and Mace and Anakin were flung backward.
Mace, flew far across the room, losing consciousness as he collided with the wall. Anakin flew backward, not quite as far and he managed to stay on his feet. His saber worked furiously and instinctively as Mace’s purple saber blurred around at his head. Chancellor Palpatine was gone, the true form and intent of Darth Sidious was known to Anakin now as the two began to square off.
Anakin had never seen such a unique formation of attack patterns. One minute he was using classical parries, similar to Dooku, then he’d be bouncing off of the walls and tables similar to Yoda. Yet the entire time, he had the constant awareness of Master Windu. Anakin could feel the Sith beginning to penetrate his defenses, but Anakin held strong to the words of his Master, Obi-Wan.
The lightsaber is my life. The force is life, feel the force and it can never let you down.
Anakin was completely submerged in the force now; no thoughts, no people, merely the force. Sidious was growing tired of this, and picked up the tempo, swinging faster and with more evil energy behind it. Yet the more he poured into the fight, the less it seemed to matter. Anakin closed his eyes, yet still could see everything in the room.
Anakin was amazingly parrying and counter attacking everything Sidious could give him with one hand. Sidious’ frustration and anger furthered the extent of his powers, but Anakin was locked in his trance and was still beating Sidious to every punch.
Finally Anakin parried the saber downward and kicked Sidious’ arms, sending the blade across the room behind the Sith. Anakin’s saber was at the Sith’s chin, neither dared to move. Anakin opened his eyes and noticed the rampant fear in his opponents.
“Do you yield?” Anakin asked.
Sidious’ eyes began glowing bright with hate. With all of his dark powers he could muster, he blasted Anakin with lightning, hitting his saber with little effect. Anakin could feel the lightning trickling down his arm into his mechanical hand. The pain was incredible, and it was beginning to tire Anakin, but he knew he had to hold on.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t, and Anakin’s trance had been broken, along with his vertical stance. Anakin dropped to the floor, grabbing his right arm in pain. Sidious, now using the full force of the dark side sped at an inhuman speed to Mace’s saber, then leaped through the air bringing the saber crashing down on the fallen Anakin.
Sidious never landed.
He struggled, but could not figure out why he was frozen. Looking down at Anakin, the realization and fear struck him. Anakin had frozen him in the air, deactivated the saber and was now forcing Sidious to bring Mace’s saber up to his chest. Sidious and Anakin locked their minds in a battle of wills as Sidious’ arms lowered, then raised back and forth. The battle of minds, became a battle of wills, which is a battle of spirit, which in this case was dark versus light.
Despite Sidious’ rage, years of experience and training over Anakin, he was nothing compared to Anakin’s new state of mind. Mace’s saber whirred to life as the purple blade pierced into Sidious’ chest, dropping the Sith to the ground. Sidious’ eyes were glowing brighter until they were pure yellow as he fought death. Anakin reached out and grabbed Mace’s saber.
Mace, was just now coming to, and although he was dazed, he knew what he was seeing. Anakin, purple saber in hand, ripped it from Sidious’ chest, then slashed forward, severing the head of the once Chancellor, now deceased Sith Lord. Mace could feel an incredible flow of the force from Anakin, like nothing he had ever encountered. It was so stimulating, that it’s power was aiding Mace in returning to his feet.
Anakin spun around and met Mace with a smile.
“I’m sorry for disobeying your commands, Master.”
