Gryffindor's Common Room

Yes exactly, I was wondering about that myself actually. This time around we both competed because obviously at the time we didn't have any prefects but next time and thereafter it's probably bext if we alternate so that one of us can compete if we want to even if our ideas aren't chosen for a final entry- at least the other one will stay neutral for the judging.

As for this exception, I'd like to judge because I have alot of reviews going around my head already - if that is ok with Eezy of course?

Hm... And maybe for the begining it will be better if the prefects comptete less, f you know what I mean .... lets give the othrs a chanse and the judging will look better !

Game Proposal:

a/ Requirments: Three students from each house

b/First the headboy or head girl will ask a general question, who ever replies first with corect answer gets the turn to ask questions to the other houses.

c/Each house will ask a question to the other houses.

d/ The questions will be at discression of the house representatives, who can come up with the questions using the mail /owl system. they will communicate among eachother and decide which question is best to be aksed. The same applies for answers.

e/ The questions have to be related with the books. for example: Who are the foundators of Hogwarts, or who was Nicolas Flamel???/

f/One day is the time limit to answer.

3 Levels:
1 Level- the one with worng answer goes out. If everyone gives corect answer, the second one who has replied to the head boy or girl question will get his turn, and so on...

2.Level - The remaing three houses will have to come up with a task, for example to write best begining of 6 book (there was a competition on muggle net " Best HP ending) not bigger then 2 pages, or best HP & Voldemort combat, the award of points will be given based on writing style, emotions, .

3. Level : I would like the others to suggest something, although I have it in my mind at this stage, thus the whole house can have ownership on this game

PS. Fitst I though of making it as duel on line, but perhaps of the different time zones will be diificult. However, we can try first among us, inhouse, to set up a duel and see how it will work in light of the time zones..

For this we need 3 volunteers from diferent time zones..
Tell me waht u think???

Unicor - about the prefects competing less, I don't think that's fair, we offer ideas and entries just like all of the other members because it doesn't necessarily mean that our ideas will be th eones that are chosen for the challenge thread, if anything it would be better for the other members to participate more in future rather then un participate less. For example, neither of of us were actually prefects when we sumitted all those multiple sig ideas but when it came down to it except from Citadel we were the only two who made sigs for the challenge at all, now what would have happened if we hadn't?

As for your next challenge idea - I like it 🙂 just like I did when you first mentioned it, however, we have to wait and see who wins the current challenge because they are the one who will have the right to choose the next competition. However, keep that idea, it's very well thought out 🙂

a/ Damm it ! In my country for this they say " with your roks on you head"!
for once I wanted to see how it is to break rules (on the other side), I got bored of just inventing rules. Anyhow, the rules are not adopted and confirmed by the head boy and girl yet ? Are they? If not, then I did no harm! 🙂 Just kidding! Tell me RebPhoe what would you like me to do? Should I apologize for this to the Slytherins (Draco'scommon room )? If yes, then I will do it once you confirm it!

b/ and I have to admit, despite how difficult it is for me to do that, the Slytherins have a very nice sig!

Lol Unicor - you don't have to apologise to the Slytherins because at the moment I think every house is guilty of posting in another House thread without reason - but once all the results of the first challenge have been collated and the rules officially put in place then I think it's safe to say that for each unnecessary post in someone elses common room should mean the poster's Houses loses 1 point.

Finished - DAMN THAT WAS HARD! Lol! and wow it's funny how the averages added up to tie all three Slyth, Raven an Gryff - the thing that really gives it distinction is the extra marks but still I was as fair as I could possibly be taking into account ALL of the things I said about each one and then adding all the seperate scores up and turning them into averages.

Rogue has Slytherin's votes and still needs to put in his own...
And Ravenclaw hasn't voted as yet 😖 i think it's their own loss... if they dont vote by tom, we use the marks we have..

RebPhoe .. I liked ur explanatory notes and the marks were OK, I mean no one was favoured, but I'm at opinion that the judging prefects maybe should not vote for their own house ?

Yeah - I thought about that too Unicor - like the Eurovision Song Contest lol 😉 where you vote for everybody else and not yourself but then I wasn't sure so I just did it this time because I thought - there are 8 prefects and they will obviously rotate plus two Heads so I thought if someone is being blatantly discriminatory or favouring their own house too much then it will be obvious and something can be done about it. As long as everybody is as fair as they can be (and made their brain hurt trying to be like I did lol) then it should be ok. I think we should just wait and see what all of the prefects have to say by the end and if it's not satisfactory we'll just not count the votes they used for themselves or not vote for their own houses at all in the future. But for now I think it's ok.
