yes yes Li, we have to create character that could be vital to the HP story overall or something like that.

And tassie, ha ha. Are you kidding me girl? Remember when we first started this? You were sending me PM's ON THE SAME STUFF I was about to send you!

ha ha, good times. 😄

awww yeah..😄 Now what's this about you having your own forum? Where's the whole best friend thing gone? 😠 hmph

j/k 😛

right....

alrighty then. 🙂 So...is our character going to be an adult or a student?

You're still my best friend tassie! 🙄 Wow, word travels quick about my forum!

Anyhow, I think tassie was saying something earlier about the character being

Spoiler:
Harry's cousin I think?
Sorry so long ago I'm not sure, plus I don't want to write something and have the others copy us. But was this the idea or no?

well, how could the character be that? the character wouldn't be a wizard.

true, and if we did that, we would have to bring in like an aunt or something, too confusing. Did we say something like

Spoiler:
Lily's lost brothe or something as well?
that would be more easier to create?

maybe we shouldn't aim for something like that. it would mean a lot of details to explain the whole situation.

That could be true...if we instead just created a totally new student, with not as many relational ties, it would be much easier to fit them into the present story.

exactly. a lot least work and something that we don't have to worry about. besides, if we add that we could be graded really harshly on it if it doesn't make sense to everyone else.

Maybe a distant relative to Weasleys?

i just don't think we should do relatives to any of the characters period.

If we did a really distant relative it might be ok. But I definately know what your saying celest, if we create a relative and it doesn't work out exactly, its not gunna fly.

a student would probably be safer. easier to integrate into the story.

yeah I agree. A realative would to hard to explain and such .. .a new character would be easier and freer to explain.

So girl or boy?

hmm....girl? I don't know...just throwing that out there because I was recently discussing w/ somebody how all of the female characters are extremes. Hermione is very smart, Rita Skeeter, very nosy, Mcgonnagal, very strict, so on and so forth. So perhaps we could create a character w/ more depth?

not all the girls are exactly extremes. but, sure we should create one with a lot of depth.

just throwing it out there. 🙂

Yeah, if we did a girl, she'd have to be different from the other ones. Defaintly with more depth and such.

Guy or girl. I guess I'll go for a girl.

doesn't really matter to me. i think a boy might be easier.
