There's alot more to the story of Pandora then that and remember that she managed to keep the essence of hope and that is important to Gryffindor I think - she also represents mystery and injustice done to innocents but hope & bravery in adversity and afterwards too. I think a character with that name would be a cool idea. Plus there's lots of interesting angles we could use - for example, as you both pointed out 'setting loose the evils upon hogwarts' or 'the box' - i say, why not? 😉 It'd make a good story and of course it'd be an accident, she's not a Slytherin afterall 😛BUT - if it's not really a popular idea, we can go with anything else you want 🙂 I'm fine with anything, it was just an idea and I explained it now 🙂

That sounds cool. We have to develop her character now, in terms of the story itself, right? If she's not a slytherin, let's make her a friend of Harry's, why not? Or Wait-- what was the name of Cho's friend who Harry didn't really like-- the girl who sold out the DA, remember? I don't know, it just kinda came to me, maybe she could be a friend of Cho's friend, since she (Cho's friend) does have a certain mysterious quality. *shrugs* just a stupid, random idea to help develop her character.

I think I got it a bit, so here I go:
Maybe this one Pandora (or what ever) I guess it was already decided that she has to be a positive one,
a) will just arrive in Hogwarts? A first year (It shouldN'T be that only Harry is capable of extraordinary stuff )
b)she could Harry under some half funny and half strange circumstances?
c) They could not like eachother at the beginig (perpahs due to the introduction circumstances that would be unconfirtable to Harry)
d) We should make a plot how they will get closer and try to be on the same side?
Just coming with ideas.
PS. I feel very familiar with the discussions going here just remind me on some exciting moments in the past
