yay cool songs!! 💃

(whispering)
and now I'll tell you, my little dears, a story of a little boy who went to Hogwarts too...

(sings again)
At Oliver ‘s I bought a wand,
For great deeds he said to me.
You will learn how to use it and command,
Many things will change! You'll see!

The boy-who-lived and You –Know- Who
Both of them, had one too.
So the story went for long and long
As I’m telling you, this not-so-funny song!

A thousand years a-go or so
Started this whole un-lucky show.
Rawena ,Helga, Godric , and Sal-a-zar
Invented what was, to become bizzare

I learned about houses four
And I wanna be in Gryf-fin-dor!

Death Eaters are the Sly-the-rin,
and Gryf-fin-dors always win.
Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff-folks
Why mention them?
They're such a joke!

(N claps and asks: )
Sooo, what do we say kids?

i should of tried too, i am a well poet 😛
but i am soooooo lazy

(Children sing: )
I learned about houses four
And that the best is Griffyndror!

(N slyly asks: )
and whyyy do you want to be in Gryffindor?....

(Children continue: )
Because...
(they chant)
Only the daring, brave and great
Hear the lion's roar
So count yourself lucky, hope-and-pray
To be a GRYFFINDOR!!!

(they all jump up and down laughing and cheering as the song ends and the narrator smiles)

🙂

Argh Eezy, you got in between the song and interrupted the flow! lol!

lol

Hey, it's not funny! Now when people read it, it wont sound as good!

LOL LOL 😛
but it sounds good

I like it!!

^ You both realise the song was 4 posts long and not just the 2 on this page right? 😛

Yeah RebelPhoe. I got that.

Egg-sellent, I'm so neurotic 😖

WOW. I like them all Rebphoe, but I have another problem now, I can not decide, even though the last one is my favourite ! But please continue, I think we have to shorten them , not too long!

Hmm, I'm not too sure I understand - you can't decide between the three you made, tassie's one and the mixed version I made - or do you think the one I put together is 4 parts?

As for the length - ah I think it's ok, it is a song afterall and not a cheer which would be shorter and when you 'sing' it, it's shorter 🙂

No... no the mixed one is far better. But I though you made 3 mixed songs.... now I realize is one. But , can u post it again so we have a better overview ??/

Ok Unicor, I'll do that 🙂 - just remember this bit whilst reading it:

K, I've added an intro and a kind of darker tempting feel to set the background for the compilation of yours and Unicor's verses and chorus' - so here is my idea: Imagine the Pied Piper, the ringleader in Pinnochio or the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - you know that kind of skinny character with an evil or secretive glint in his eye who tells a story to little kids trying to get them to join or something - Jack Scarecrow is also good. () those brackets refer to actions and background info but only apply directly to one line afterwards (and are not part of the wong so dont' let that interrupt your flow when reading 😉 ) and words-written-like-this basically means you say one word directly after the other like they were seperate syllables rather then words - so anyway - he's the story teller (N for singing Narrator) and this is how it begins:

N:
Whether you be a wizard, or whether you be a witch
come to Hogwarts hither, where we catch the golden snitch
we're all welcome here, no lie nor snear
come try today, we'll see you play
(yells) or who you cheer in Quid-ittch!

(hushed voice and points at a little girl)
Come come my dear, come a little closer
to where the Sorting Hat can hear
For once you come, all-will-be-made-more-clear
And if you ask the Sorting Hat
For a little, small, o chat
You will see how smart it speaks with art
(yells and gestures) At where you belong in here!

(Children yell in unison: )
But what did the Sorting Hat say!?!?

(N with a sneaky grin: )
What did it say!?!? Why I'll tell you what it saaaid... (Big breath)

(singing again)
only the brave, daring and great
Hear the lion's roar
So count yourself lucky, hope and pray
to be a Gryf-fin-dor!

Wiser then the Sly-the-rins
those silly dumb-witted fools,
none smarter then the Raven
But Gryf-fin-dor still rules!

Next come those giggly Huffle-puffs!
Oh so shy and innocent
that pronouncing them bor-ing
would be an under-statement

(claps) So!

Only the daring, brave and great
Hear the lion's roar
So count yourself lucky, hope-and-pray
to be a Gryf-fin-dor!

Hey! (claps and speeds up)

The wisest eagle has no wings
A drunken badger only sings
The crying serpent has his fools
But only Gryf-findor still rules!

(Children laughing and happy: )
Was what the Sorting Hat sang true?

(N screaches and shouts: )
Was it TRUE!?!?
OF COURSE IT WAS TRUE!!!

(children shaking in their boots while he sweeps over them and continues)
