yes, the four houses would compete against each other. So let me get this straight, the next challenge is to create a Triwizard task.

Okay, than we need rules.

Um . . .thinking it over now, what if we actually created a triwizard task and the challenge was to actually solve it. That would less confusing for people becuz then they would actually know what they are doing.
Okay . .. i'm sounding confusing. . .

Making up a challenge gives people free rang to do anything. We'd have to come up with specific rules on what they can and can not do.

Perhaps if the task was to . .I dunno . .can't think right now. But say if we were to create our own spell or something, or potion with ingredients, the other houses would know specifically what they are doing.

Okay, I'm rambling on. Does any of this make sense??

You can disregard the above statements. We'll go ahead and do what everyone else is saying. The challenge can be to come up with a Triwizardy Task.

But we need guidelines. Originality of course. But what are the guidelines??

any ideas?? I'm trying, but everytime I think about a task, it ends up .. nothing. Maybe we should have a task for the best new spell?? Maybe we could come up with three of them?
1 spell for defense
1 spell for attacking
1 spell for fun

that could work...have them say the wand movement and pronounciation as well as purpose. but that sorta would b easy, wouldnt it?

Well, if we are going to do a tri-wizard challenge, it's going to have to involved three challenges.

Here are some ideas I think would be good for them:
1) A question answer round - where we find some difficultish names, place, animals, spells etc to have Q's on, which of course we wont be allowed to post the answers in our common rooms 😉, we'll have to PM instead if we need help double checking. 5-10 Questions max.
2) The charm/spell idea is actually really good - howabout we have to make a potion, yes! Howabout the ever controversial and dangerous love potion! Hence we' have to do abit of research to find out about real ingrediantes etc, or there could be a choice of potions to make e.g. love, sleeping, good luck potions and each House can choose whichever one they want to do.
3) The third challenge could be a short creative writing challenge where each house has to do something different e.g. Gryff has to write one which praises Snape and talk about reasons why he's so great, and Slyth could write about why Hufflepuffs are really to be admired and are such wonderful people like Cedric etc, then Ravenclaw can do one about
why Gryff are so great at Quidditch and deserve all the glory and Hufflepuff can write about how they wish to be Ravenclaws lol or something like that - it would just be so funny! and only 1 paragraph or 2 to make it more challenging 😉
OR - set up different scenarios where the House has to say what their members or even their Founder would do or one common scenario for everyone and what Harry would do.
OR a theory challenge - again, it would only be like 2 paragraphs max.
