As for the deadline, I'm not sure cos everytime we set one we have to move it back, even last time when the Ravens gave us a really long one 😖 and plus, since this one has three tasks there will be alot of House discussions about entires I think (which will be good for participation hopefully ✅ ) so we might need abit longer then the end of the week.

Howabout, once the challenge is officially set, we have until the Thursday of next week (1st July) as the deadline and use the weekend to judge like we usually do? 🙂

yah, i have no clue whats going on. we need a challenge by 2morrow, or even 2night if thats possible. we'r starting 2 b in the same situation the ravenclaws were in last challenge ❌

Yep, there are three parts Tass 🙂 and the only part where there is confusion is on the third task where I have three ideas and Rogue had one too which is why we nee some feedback quickly, hint hint 😉

Celestial - you're right, I'm trying to help push this along abit now because when I came in this week I saw that members had pretty much decided on a Triwizard Tournament but weren't sure what it should include so I made some suggestions (near the bottom of pg53).

So please ladies, some feedback on it, especially part 3 of the challenge would be especially helpful right now ✅ and any other Gryff who reads this!

mayb we shouldnt do a triwwizard tournament. it's getting every1 mixed up. i do like the story idea of how we write about praising snape.

Like, maybe writing from Professor Dumbledore's prespective?? Or maybe even each house choosing someone else from the opposing house and write about.
Gryffindor's could write from Malfoy's prespecitve.
Slytherin from, Neville's or maybe Dean's.
Ravenclaw could write from Cedric's (wasn't he huffelpuff?)
Huffelpuff could write form ??? (i forget some of the ravenclaws)

And the mini story could be about how they see, their house, completing the challenge.

Gryffindor might write how Malfoy is thinking up a way of cheating.
And the Huffelpuff might write about how ??? (the ravenclaw whom I forget) is trying to research all the books in the library, (Maybe even going into the Restricted Area) and finding info about their task.

This way, everything will be linking BACK to the Triwizardy Task.

i think you guys should, cause many of you voted for the tri wizard tournament, but now u see that is getting complicated, and maybe you want to change the challenge don't u think?

Tassie, check your PM messages. I think I sent you one telling you about the Slytherin Prefects things.

Okay, about the SLytherin Prefects. I don't even know which members are male and which are female. So I had no clue as to who to PM. HOnestly, I thought Raven was female, but that's not the point.

First of all, let me explain everything.
About a week and a half ago is when this problem started. Every House Prefect had submitted thier results, except the Slytherin Prefects. This is when I PM'ed AD and asked him if he was still interested in being the slytherin prefects becuz it's been awhile since we'd seen him. I got no response. I posted a message in the Slytherin Common room, asking them who the other Prefect was. No one knew.

A couple of days later, the other houses were getting reckless. I then propsed an idea to the Slytherin's that they could elect a Temporary Prefect, who could just judget the challenge. Its Magic agreed to do this, but tassie and I had already talked and I was going to fill in as Slytherin Prefect. I had already had the results when Its Magic said that he would do it. So we agreed that we would go with my results.

Okay, a few days passed, and I still hadn't heard from AD, (now Sauron) or the other mystery prefect. So I asked Its Magic if he would like to be prefect, since he was very active. He agreed. I posted the idea to the other SLytheirn's. They agreed that he could be the new prefect.

But by then, I kept asking who the other Slytherin Prefect was and again I got no reponse. By now I noticed that Raventheonly (who I thought was female) was online pretty frequently. I asked her to be the other Slytherin Prefect and get the Slytherin's up to shape. He agreed. Again, the posted this in the Slytherin Common Room and they all agreed to it.

I belive it was either Monday or Tuesday, when Ad, now Sauron replied to my message and said that he would be the prefect. I replied, telling him that I had already elected new prefects.

I understand that AD was the slytheirn prefect, and I now found out tha Orl's was the other prefect. But the fact of the matter is simple: AD and Orl's have not been that active in this challenge and were hardly online. Seeing that tis was twice that Slytherin was lacking (submitting their entry and now judging them) I felt that I needed to take action. We had 2 Slytherin's holding the title of Prefects, yet they were not active. Feelign that we need to move forward, and at the time of thier re-election, I had no reply from AD, I elected new Slytherin Prefects.

Looking at page 28 in the Slytherin Common Room, I just now noticed that Orl's changed her name to LadySlytherin. No wonder I said that Orl's wasn't that active!!! . .. .. I was confused of who was who.

Anyone, please read page 27. I have no probelm if LadySlytherin, aka Orl's wants to be prefect. Raven offered her the job . . . and she said that it was okay. So the problem I'm hearing from Gryffindor is .. . . ?

NOW, it seems like we could do something about the 2 males being Prefect, but at the time, it was all about who was active and who was not. To prevent this from happeing in the future, we need to establish some kind of communication. If AD or Orl's had of PM'ed and said, "Rogue, I'm grounded so I won't be around much to be Slytherin Prefect." I then know to elect a Temporary Prefect until they returned. But all I knew is that I hadn't seen AD or Orl's online soon .. .I could only go on that. I hadn't seen them online.
So I acted on that.

Hope this clears things up.

lol thats good. mayb we should hold an election 4 temporary prefects or something like that in case a prefect is unable 2 do his/her duties. idk, might b a good idea, mayb not. but i think now we should stay out of the slytherin problem. we do need 2 decide on a challenge. we have been on and off again about the challenge 4 a while now. things r getting a little 2 chaotic around here, with a whole bunch of newbies suddenly popping in. i think mayb we should try 2 get out the challenge 2morrow and think of the scoring system as well. we just keep getting distracted. either that or after this challenge, we should take a break from challenges 4 a little while just 2 get the inter house thing cleared up. we can just make a reminder of prefects, head boy and girl, any rules that need 2 b added or just all the rules again, and lists of members in houses. we should also make note of who hasnt replied in a house. at least that way, we know whats going on. we have been trying 2 do all that while thinking of a challenge. it'll just help out a lot mayb.

Celest, I couldn't agree with you more!! I think the whole Slytherin thing is a distraction. We need to get along with the challenge and then the real fun can begin!!

Okay, let's get focused.
I believe we were discussing the challenge and wondering if the Triwizardy tasks were too confusing. Is this still true?? Or do we need to move on to the story writing one?? I know people said we've done that b4, but, I 'm just saying??

Personally, either way is good for me. I don't care which. As long as we know what we're doing, . . .the triwizardy taks seems a little confusing, but if we could clear it up, by all means go ahead and we can do it.

What do ya think??

i think the triwizard task should b let go. there r so many ideas that involve it that it's going 2 take a while 4 us 2 sort it all out. as 4 the story idea, mayb we should hold that off until we r completely unsure of what 2 do.

i'm hardly ever focused in the summer. 🤪
