Light Boomerang (Bent Sith Lightsaber)

I thought that it'd be real cool for a guy like Tulak Hord, who is one bad@$$ mother with a blade, to have an arsenal of lightsaber-force related weapons. Among these would be the light boomerang (the physics of which would not work without the force), lightkamas, and light-torashuko (like wolverine claws, only small lightsabers). Thus he would be like the Boba Fett of Jedi, a ninja with a seemingly limitless store of force weapons. This concept will lead me to a relevant fight for the forum later, but I just wanted to know if anyone thought the idea was cool. Sorry to bother anyone who thinks it is stupid.

Creativity is never a bad idea. Hell, it's one of the most original ideas I've seen around here. I think it might be feasible.

I think light-sai's would be pretty cool. It's kindove dumb, but does anyone else think like a ten foot lightsaber would be cool. It would probably require a lot of jumps and flips to use, but would be amazing if mastered. Also, swinging it wouldn't be anymore tiring that a regular lightsaber, the blade is weightless.

If thats the idea I like it but it has a few problems, those swords are not very fit for lightsaber combat. The handle is to big and although they are nice to fight with it would mean you would have to come realy close, I don't think it would be really effective.

Maybe if you could show pictures of something slightly similair it would help, but the idea sounds great.

Episode 1: doubleblader.
Episode 2: caminoan saber dart
Episode 3: Republican lightsaber dart

Well, let's start with the first set of weapons...

They've be neat, but ultra close. Fitting only for an assassin or some adventurer type Force user who uses it more for stealth kills and cutting transparisteel windows than actual fighting.

The claws would need to be reworked into a gauntlet that wouldn't bend well at the wrist since the power cell would be so large for even two blades. But still, a nice concealed weapon.

The third weapon, Chinese broadsword, wouldn't be feasible. Handle is a nice touch, but Dooku already made that innovation. Or rather, ancient Jedi and Sith did. But the blade itself would be impossible to make in that shape.

More or less the same with the hook swords. Making the curved blades and hooks would be horribly difficult if not impossible. But perhaps a vibroblade/saber mix would work... Who knows?

Janus, I modified the post, but you are right. Some of the ideas are overelaborate. However, I think they would be cool as crap on a guy like Tulak Hord, whom I picture as four-armed, badass Boba Fett of Sith Lords (having so many weapons). They would be cool in a fight, right? Anyone who wants can give ideas - this concept can be extended to almost any samurai/ninjitsu weapons, save perhaps the ones, like nunchuks, that bend, unless there were a lightsaber at either end...
Anyway, what do ye think, ppl?

I'd certainly like to see a larger variety of non-saber weapons in SW, for sure. I mean, devices like the lightwhip and force pike are nifty, but exotic blades like these would be just NOICE.

Yeah, thanks Boba and Janus. My dissatisfaction with the Force weapons is what led me to write this thread. I just want to know if anyone has any ideas? Can I hear an AMEN?
