sure, the ps3 may have better hardware, but who gives a crap about hardware??..the console doesnt really sell unless it has good software, and this is where the wii and 360 come out on top and thats why they're selling better (except that the 360 has had a year longer than the others)
popularity-wise, the wii is every bit as good as it was when nintendo first started making games and consoles..

HDMI and Blu-ray are worth the extra 200 bucks for me.

i'm way too cheap to buy a ps3, even with the price drop, and the 360 has been out longer so, more good games.

the only way that the PS3 is better than wii, is the slightly better graphics, which is one of the least important things in gaming, gameplay is pretty much the most important, and Wii has the best controls, which contributes to the gameplay making it 10x better

I like the way you say slightly better graphics, as if they are nothing. Graphics are quite important to a game actually. They convey the atmosphere of a game and say for example survival horror, if the graphics weren't up to scratch it just wouldn't be frightning.

Though this doesn't apply to every game of course. I'm just merely pointing out that graphics aren't the least important part of game.

has anyone here actually played more than 3 games on the wii? the remote strokes and motions are like moving your whole arm to press a button. PS3 is the best (wii is still ok)

but we all agree that the 360 sucks right? and graphics only help out, for instance, chrono trigger one of the top ten best games ever, ade in 95, has 2d graphics, but despite that it's just about the beszt game ever, way better than any final fantasy game, 5though graphics do help the atmosphere it is totally uneeded to make a all-time great like supermario bros., or chrono trigger

If we kept with 2D graphics we wouldn't have games like, Gears of War, Halo, RainbowSix Vegas, Metal Gear Solid, Half-Life 2, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Splinter Cell, Doom 3, Battlefiled 2.

If those games were in 2D graphics it just wouldn't be any fun to play them.

Plus saying the Xbox 360 sucks, is just based purely on your experince of it. So I can assume your just a fan of age old grahpics and doesn't like the new generations wonderfully detailed graphics which draw you into a game.

Wii only has childish games, and PS controller is the best, it just feats the hand the best. Its perfect.

Hahahahaha you made me laugh so hard right now.

Wii Graphics right now are about PS2 in it's middle timeline. Even the latest PS2 graphics are better then it.

Wii graphics suck, deal with it. Saying that the PS3's graphics are a little better is totaly retarded. PS3 graphics are better then the 360's(Althought not by much) And it has an 8 cell proccesor, now if top notch games like Gears of War use only 1.5 cells all in all, imagine 8.
The only problem is game producers learning how to make those kind of graphics.

It's a tie between the Wii and the 360. The PS3 is just too much money for something so similar to the XB 360. I would rather get a 360, the games I like to play wont go well with the Wii's controller and the Wii graphics are not that different from the Game Cube. I'm not going to go out and pay money for something that's no better then what I already have. If you ask me, every thing different about the Wii could've just been attachments and accessories for the GC
