I just have more fun playing GoW online than playing Mario in single player. I don't really care if Mario is Nintendo's finest game or even popular character, in the end its if I like the game, simple as that.
For example Metal Gear Solid is a class game but if someone who came along who didn't like the game would you force them to like the game simply because its so popular?
It seems like your just forcing your favourite Nintendo icon on everybody, even though they may be good, they are not everyones cup of tea.

You're comparing a TPS, a totally different type of game to an whole adventure franchise. If you ask me that's like comparing Bruce Lee's one inch punch to a Mortal Kombat Brutality combo.
