Another Spurs fan?

And another one! That makes three of us!

I've been nicely surprised by the ol' Lilly Whites this season. I keep thinking we're only a couple of games away from slipping back into mediocrity, but that doesn't seem to be happening this time. So many false dawns have passed in the last few years, that it's great to see that this season we seem to be lasting.

Davids has always been a top quality player. You don't play for Juventus, AC Milan AND Barcelona for nothing. The only thing I was worried about, when we signed him, was whether he could still bite as well as he could bark...the answer is a resounding, YES! Woof!

Also, although he's having a lean spell, Defoe is going to be a great player. I just hope that Spurs can continue to flourish, so his ambition is matched by the club's.

We can thank Jol for the all-round improvements over the last year. He comes across as both an intelligent and a forceful manager - sort of a mix between Wenger and the toad-master from 'Kung Fu Hustle'. I think his policy of having a solid base of promising, young, English players is perfect. He is also renowned enough in Europe to be able to attract some decent stars. I just hope he can find one of those 'fantasy' players he talks about Spurs needing. There's no way we're going to get Robben away from Chelsea, but how about Jaoquin from Betis, Sneijder from Ajax or Ribery from Marseille?

"To sleep, perchance to dream..."

One more thing...Crouch is terrible, but I think Deano's infatuation with him is really cute.

Im not sure who here like what team or teams so Ill start:

Real Madrid
Juventus
Milan
Barcelona
Roma
C.D. Olimpia (Honduras team, where im from)

And my favourite players:

David Suazo (hes from Honduras where im from)
Ronaldinho (hes just so sick when he practices)
Roberto Carlos
Cristiano Ronaldo
Maradona
Ronaldo
David Beckham
Andrea Pirlo
Zlatan Ibrahimovick
Joe Cole

Whos posting next?

talkin out ya ass again. your added to the list of idiots for talking nonsense and proving you know nothing. well done.

it seems people are allowed to slag him off but when someone trys to defend him, that person has an infatuation with him.

I agree the goal he scored was very well taken for someone who hasn't scored in so long. And even though i don't support Liverpool i was very happy to see him score. Being a striker is all about confidence and if you don't score for a while it really annoys you. I know when i played striker just in a local team when i didn't score it really annoyed me even if we won sometimes. hopefully now he can go on a little run except when they play Man Utd 😄

we've put a bid in for Ribery... only trouble is, atm our team is quite attractive over all, and Ribery just looks like the elephant man and would drag the whole damn average down a few notches.

we don't need a winger... we need a prolific striker - Kuyt.

or Ibrahimovic 😕 who i beleive is not only 1 of the best in the world, but would fit our tactics perfectly haha - but thats never gonna happen.

our next games are Portsmouth, Middlesborough, Birmingham, West Brom and a distinctly average Newcastle - im gonna go out on a limb and say that's at least 12 points in the bag there, should be 15. and with Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool all having slightly more difficult christmas' we might be able to bump up a place or 2.

Man i hope so, Spurs problem in past years has always been losing the games we should have won. Ya Krunk'd you have earned another brownie point, keep it up and you might get a xmas present.

Man Utd are out of Europe cry

WHAT A GEOVANNI HEADER ! 😄

I saw the whole match, and it didnt even look like Man U.

Scholes scored a poor goal and should consider himself lucky for crossing the ball over the line as it bumped off his tigh. He played a good match otherwise.

Ronaldo wasnt playing well at all and Man U players even tackled eachother for the ball. They had no sense of passing and distribution left much to be desired. Benfica were all over them in the 1st half as they pressed the devils in every corner of the ground. Roy Keane was sorely mist as he would have been a better captain than Neville.

Oh Well ; The World Cup Draws Soon ! 🙂

Of course I'm talking out of my ass! That's where most of my vocabulary in regards to Crouch is located! Silly boy...

True dat! Maybe they should put in a bid for me...I'm incredibly good-looking. Either that or buy David Beckham's face from Real Madrid and attach it to Ribery using sticky tape and paper-clips...

The way Ribery plays, we could play him just behind a striker (or two...). It would add some unpredictability and flair to our attacks. I'm not saying we're boring but, like Jol said, to reach the top you need that little extra, a la Henry, Pires, Rooney, Ronaldo, Robben and Cole...

Kuyt would be a good buy though...

koolruningz...I'm so covered in brownie points that I look like a shit! Wait...was that what Deano was going on about?

Yeah Man Utd were terrible after they scored they couldn't pass, or keep possession.

and we didn't even get a UEFA cup spot.

world cup draw will be interesting later ✅

Madrid wouldnt sell, among a few others, Beckham's is keeping that club in the money.
i agree with that 'little extra' but i don't see why it has to be a winger, we don't use them - we have wingbacks.

for me that little extra would come in the form of: Kuyt or a really really decent Attacking midfielder like Messi, Riquelme or Totti

never gonna happen though, in a year or 2 when we prove we become European regulars - and on a side note i reckong, like Liverpool, Spurs would be really good in Europe, better than we are in the league

tottenhams strikers are class. all they need is an attacking midfielder

You can say that again.

well Kuyt has said he wants to come to Tottenham... the others; no chance
give us a few years though, with regular european football and we'll have the funds (we always did have... but + european funding) and the promise of european football every year to entice the top players in to coming, because Spurs are still a world renowned club especially in places like Holland and Argentina where we've got a massive reputation

or proper supply, we have amazing strikers... but we still hit a long ball to Mido for him to touch it down, even though it's clearly not working.

Jenas and Tainio both play attacking midfield and they both play it well... only problem is neither of them play that killer ball through the defence enough

I think we could entice Riqueleme by mentioning the little genius of Ossie Ardiles...He could follow in the magician's footsteps...

I used to have a classic video - yes, I said "video" - by the name of 'The Greatest Ever Spurs Team'...Some of the magic from Ossie was out of this world! However, I think the greatest goal ever scored by a Spurs player was finished by Glenn Hoddle. I think it was against Luton in his last game for the club...He picked up the ball in our half, beat a couple of players on the half-way line, dribbled to the box, beat another, rounded the 'keeper and rolled it into the net; 'nonchalant' and 'sublime' are the only words to describe it.

PS. Deano said something that made sense! Good work, kiddo!

Yeah Ossie was a great little midfielder, do any of you remember him in that movie with Sly Stallone, Pele and Bobby More?
Ricky Villa scored some great goals for Spurs in his time to and obviously the winner in the FA Cup final stands out the most.
I also remember Gazza scoring an awesome free kick against Arsenal in an FA Cup semi final that must be right up there to.
