There is nothing that bothers me less in this world than what Sven said or done. I don't care not even a little bit.
they play in different positions.
Rooney is a striker, he has more power, can shoot better, other than that he has nothing over Messi.
Messi is more skillful, has much better off-the-ball movement, a greater eye for killer balls, can dribble better and has a finishing touch which, although isn't as good as Rooney's, is still world class.
He can also play attacking midfielder on the right, left or through the centre, can play with both feet, and is younger haha.
yea well done, Rooney has more agression, but that often leaves him out of position, or worse, sent off

IMO Deco hasn't been in the best of form recently, Xavi I don't see as a real play maker more of a defencive midfielder IMO and I have never been a big fan of Iniesta.
Don't get me wrong Messi is a really good player and will probably go on to be a great player I just think that he doesn't impact the game as often as Rooney.
i agree entirelyTM. xavi is more defensive, he just gets the ball and keeps possesion, spraying passes around. iniesta isnt that great to be honest, and deco isnt on form like you said. Plus they are all centrel midfielders anyway. messi is more of a winger i think, best played up tops with etoo and giuly.

but i was soo worried it was gonna go to penalties purely because of Reto Zeiglers mishap for the Arsenal goal. Zeigler is a quality player and he's coming back to Tottenham at the end of the season. 😉
