Rosicky will probably take a whole season to get used to the Premiership, though. Berbatovinho, as he has become known, will most likely take to the Premiership like a hot chick to my charm; he'll score at least 100 goals in his first 10 games.

Carlton Cole would be a good 4th striker, like Rasiak wasnt... but i dont see whats wrong with Barnard he's tall, strong, commited, and good finisher... you shouldnt be expecting miracles from your 4th choice striker but he's damn good for one.

If there's any truth to it, I'd prefer Denilson over Downing.

i dunno, Downing is a quality player plus it's in keeping with the 'buying young english talent' thing... Downing would probably end up being more expensive purely because he's english

i dont rate downing that highly, i prefer shaun wright phillips

There comes a point when what we need isn't really available with a stamp marked "Bristish, Born And Bred". We need a magical player who can float, dribble, pass and shoot; someone like Van der Vaart, Sneijder, or Ribery. Please.

we almost bought Ribery... Sneijder is incredible, can play anywhere across midfield aswell.

but Downing will always be my first choice, fast, good on the ball and naturally left footed, it's a good signing, just needs to build up his delivery quality.

I think I'd prefer having a player with the potential to be 'world-class', rather than an only OK English dude.

he's better than ok, he's a great left winger.
