That's absolutely ridiculous. Man for man, Chelsea beat Liverpool in every single position. The only contestable comparison would be between Gerrard and Lampard.

for this game Chelsea will be playing with no wingers, they have absolutely no balance in midfield... sure all the players are great, but Ballack and Lampard will be playing in the same position practically.
Whereas Liverpool will have Pennant on the right providing some width and with Xabi Alonso and Sissoko in centre you have loads of support for Gerrard roaming in from left.
Aurelio is just as good as Cole imo, Kuyt just as good as Drogba... Shevchenko clearly hasnt adapted yet so atm id prefer to have a fully adapted Bellamy in my team.
Chelsea overall do have a better defence though.
man for man and at full strength chelsea will be better, but atm with the makeup of the team and also the personnel in there and the way they play, id take Liverpool's team.
