Yeah, it just goes to show what a good player he is. He made the team tick-tock. I think we will eventually turn the corner; Zokora has been looking really good, and we've got Malbranque to come back, but I am feeling a little emotional about my dear ol' Spurs at the moment.

and Jol's substitutions befuddle me... Murphy was the closest thing we had to a creative force in midfield, off he comes... on comes Davids, who has a good 10seconds but then reverts to his usual sloppy passing even sloppier tackling self.

Murphy is a great player, if only Spurs used him more often, one of the best passers in the premiership, really underrated.....

Jenas is a player I have never properly rated, even when everyone else were havig orgasms over him, he just isn't as diverse with his passing and all around play as Murphy, plus Murphy is a playmaker of the highest order, most of Charlton's goals and assists came from him!!!

Crouch's goal was good, I admit.

I'll also say that it will lead to him being hailed as something he quite clearly isn't, more so than before. Everyone went mad for Trevor Sinclair when he did it...(The fact that Trevor Sinclair did it, and did it better, is something to think about when thinking about overhead goals).

Crouch may not be world class, but he gets the job done, and he's more efficient and in better form than some of the so-called "world class" players

Crouch's appearance puts people off him. He should be able to walk into the starting line ups of 95% of the worlds teams.

He's tap-in-Timothy, who scores the very odd decent goal. Yes, he does his job as a poacher, but that's like saying "I'm the best roadsweeper in the world.".
