lampard has done very little this season to justify his selection, he did even less in the world cup...

i say give nolan or jenas a chance...

you cant be a great player all the time, give him a chance. hes just having a bit of an off time, he'll be back soon enough.

well then fine, bring him back when he plays well... but he hasn't played well since last season... 😬

he's not exactly in the best of company is he? you've got joey barton as his closest rival, and he's nowhere near the england team...

and lampard's still unable to reproduce his form for england...

you put Lampard into a team that isnt full of super stars and see if he does as well then

lampard doesnt shine for england. id rather have gerrard in the middle with hargreaves. there you have two players with lots of energy and heart. then put joe cole on the left, and lennon/shaun W Phillips on the right.

cole and hargreaves are injured, otherwise they would be playing.

Lampard is the best midfielder in England at the moment

I'd drop Gerrard before i'd drop him, he's more consistent, Gerrard is overrated, but you all seem to groom him as some kind of superstar, he did less than Lampard against Macedonia

If anyone should be dropped, it should be Stevie G.....it makes me laugh how when everything goes wrong with England, Lampard is to blame

Gerrard has done nothing for club or country thus far, Lampard has

As VVD said somewhere, Gerrard is good for the odd commentator orgasm, Lamps is more consistent

And the fact both McClaren and Eriksson always pick him proves my point, Lampard is one of the best midfielders in the world, you do not drop him.......let's drop Rooney, shall we?? He's had a couple of crap games, let's jump all over him and criticise, it's what we always seem to do with our better players

Let's face it, England are better with Lamps than without him
