final aggregate score for Celtic Barca will be 3-0, celtic won't score. They will get beat at Parkhead I think, its been made out to be a fortress on european nights.

The Arsenal game will be awesome, Milan will scrape it I think. 2-1 final agg

i think arsenal'll scrape it, milan is slipping in a big way this year. they were poor last year and this year they're terrible. they're okay in europe but domestically they're showing their age.

Really looking forward to Arsenal AC.

Another convincing win by Liverpool today.

Just Noticed that Chelsea v Villa ended 4:4. Including two penalty's 3 red cards and 5 yellows.

Sounds like an interesting game🙂

Must have been.

It was a crazy game, I was watching the scores on TV and it was 4-3 to chelsea when I left my house. I came home and heard it was 4:4 final score, and all the rest.

I watched the highlights later on and it looks like chelsea were being run ragged by Villa, Chelsea need more depth in their squad. If they have big names out then they need to make sure sufficent backup is about.

Shevchenko had a rare "awesome" game, his second goal was 1 of 30million reasons they signed him.

Cech? something is far wrong with him this season, he was ranked #1 keeper in europe and I think he is turning into any goalkeeper who has recently played for england.

Discos - Pizzaro sucks

Well, any team that can lose Lampard, Essien and Mikel, sell Diarra, and still have Ballack, Makelele and coughSidwellcough has got some decent depth.

arsenal win on penaltys

How exactly does one predict the outcome of a penalty shootout?

they'll defend well at home for sure but barcelona's attack will prove too much.

what attack would that be? have u seen their peformance in the CL so far. they produced poor peformances and celtic have a chance of getting through because they have beaten Barca before ya knob.

English players can't take them. Arsenal have none.

Done.

(I know AC don't, don't ruin it.)

Why the hell does everyone expect Olympiakos to be annihalated? They got a draw with Real Madrid, and Chelsea are hardly looking like European champions!

With the almighty Liverpool, 'tis easy... Pepe Reina saves 4 out of five... sorted.

Spot on!! 💃 💃

yeah Chelsea just aint the same nowadays, I think they will beat Olympiakos but when it comes to a tougher opposition in the next round I think they will get beat.

Hopefully they get shown a lesson by a big name team, like REAL or AC.

Any fancy starting up a discussion on the rapidly growing concern of players being sent off for 2 footed lounges/tackles.
Crouch's one against Chelsea was just crazy, this issue has just came to concern recently but why the hell are players doing this?

Hleb has been tackled from behind about 5 times this year, and it's always been a yellow.

Two resulted in injuries.

maybe they should start suspending players for a few matched for such dangerous attacks. They can wreck someones football career and stops creative technical play.

sympathies to the family of Phil O'Donnell who collapsed during a match with Dundee United yesterday and died on the way to hospital

Well, they are supposed to, but they don't do it.

It's because the media, as recently as yesterday (hello Shitanta) peddle the idea that teams have to foul Arsenal all game, whereas when Man Utd lose, it's because they had an off day. No one says that about them because they don't want to upset Fergie. Man Utd always used to insist that they were rolling over teams that Arsenal struggled with due to some mythical tactic, but it was, and is, basically a case of teams doffing the cap to them all the time. Bolton used to be the ultimate rough team, yet against Man Utd they were putting red carpet out every match. Once Fat Sam left, Bolton beat them.

A lot of commentators on football maintain that the English refs are responsible for the dire state of English footballers technically. There is no protection for stylish players here- whenever Hleb tries something he gets scythed down. No wonder no-one grows up with technique.

yeah, I was watching sky sports news when it came "breaking news" I didnt catch the first moving news bar but I did catch "motherwell against Dundee United"....and I wondered to myself how the SPL made breaking news? usually its something crazy like Jose leaving Chelsea.

But once I got a proper read, I was like "holly shit". My sympathy goes out to anyone who knew him and miss him greatly. I have never really heard of him myself except when I read in an aberdeen FC program that he was 34-35 and I was like "just retire man"

I will be attending (as usual) the home Aberdeen game against Caley Thistle on Wednesday and I am sure there will be a minute silence or something to remember him by.

TACKLES: they are getting far too crazy and Andy Johnson's leg would have "cisse'd" if it was on the ground at the time against Arsenal. It's weird, I thought I say Ireland get send off for Man City but yet he was playing against Liverpool today, was it only a 1match ban or did it get overturned?....perhaps he did serve a 3 match ban but its been a hectic xmas schedule.
