I suppose you're right.

It couldn't really be any worse, unless his leg had been severed, but that'd be a pretty ridiculous cut off.

People can interpret that as excuses or whatever they want. None of that ever seems to happen to anybody else, there's something wrong when you're the most fouled team. Not to mention that, even though we're still three points clear, possibly six if we win our next game, it could have been five clear NOW (Due to a Man U win just now), but it's not, because Parnaby decided to dive. I blame Clichy for the mistake he made, but he recovered and won the ball.

It's just ridiculous, and worse, it's all on tape. So it's undeniable.

i dont know if id go that far as to say it only ever happens to arsenal players.

i havent seen a video of it but from the pictures it looked like it was completely intentional. im sure he didnt mean to break his leg, but thats the sort of thing that you risk when you make a challenge like that.

There's no reason to go for the ball like that though, in the position it was. He wanted to 'let him know he was there'.

If someone runs onto you, you wouldn't go in like that, forwards onto the ball. It's asking for trouble. Indirect intent.

If that's the case, then Wenger should have reminded his players in the Man Utd game last week that this kind of attitude isn't acceptable. The stuff they were doing last week would be classed as direct intent.

Spurs 7 - Chelsea -1

How about the following:

"Arsenal will fail when Henry leaves.".

"Tottenham will cruise by them and go into fourth.".

"Arsenal can't keep it up.", the Tim Sherwood classic, before we beat Chelsea.

Statistically and factually the most fouled team.

Brought to a draw by a penalty that shouldn't have been, as factually proven by the replay, which shows Clichy hitting the ball first.

These aren't made up by me, they're facts. What about that hurts you? Is it the fact that Liverpool are battling for fourth with...Everton? If you're going to argue "Moaning changes nothing.", save it, because I'm aware. What I fail to understand is you not being able to admit any facts that go into Arsenal's favour, or you didn't see the replay.

You evidently know nothing of football Mr. Milan-Saw-It-and-Will-Now-Win-about-4-0.

Damn your childish. The Milan wind up prediction, which you as usual fell for, wasn´t serious (and I think I wrote 5:0 not 4:0) and I was rooting for Arsenal as I do for all English teams in Europe so i´m not anti Arsenal, I like the way they play.

yep Liverpool are battling for 4th, in fact I reckon they might end up 6th If the yo yo-ing doesn´t stop, so what? thats football. The thing is even if Liverpool got relegated I would still support them, you would swap teams like you done with England for Brazil.

Thank you, that's what I mean.

"He didn't mean it.", to break his leg, maybe. He meant to go flying in with a sicko tackle.

To swap teams implies I had to support England to begin with, which I haven't ever.

Know your role.

i hope spurs win today, it'd do them a world of good.

Notice that now teams are no longer scared of Chelsea, they are susceptible to being taken apart at the back.

If only people did it more often.

Defender Syndrome puzzles me.

In the dying moments some defenders just do the dumbest things. What was Woodgate thinking?

Tainio is just being a prick now. No need for that. They've fought well, deserved the win really, so why taint it?

What stuff?

If what's the case? None of that happened last week, and no one is saying Arsenal should be allowed to do those things.

The only thing that happened was Gallas' kick. While poor sportmanship, it wasn't going to injure anyone.

Flamini got the ball, from the side. There's no need to slide for a man coming head on.

No one is excusing dangerous tackles, in any case.

Chelsea 9, oh yeah.

Mugs.

I think Robbie Keane always knew he'd play for Spurs because apparently he dreamt of lifting the Carling Cup as a boy.

wow Spurs won 2:1 in extra time, that looked like an interesting match shame I missed it.

was a good match, Spurs played well but Chelsea werent at their best... but I couldnt care less, Spurs are in europe next season, that's all that matters...

Yeah.

Do you reckon Berbatov will stay now?

A lot of people on another (good) forum seem to think he's already agreed a deal to leave in the future.

Maybe. It all comes down to his faith in Ramos's ability to build up the team, and how much Tottenham are willing to pay him to keep him there. He's going to get some big contract offers from other clubs.

He seemed happy enough, I said before, it's almost win win for Spurs, he stays we have a world class striker, he leaves we get at least £20m, probably more.

I'd much prefer he stays tho, the chances of finding someone that good again are slim to none.

To sign for Spurs, anyway.

First off, woo-hoo, SPURS! LALALALA...etc.

So, it appears you know what stuff. Stop pulling a Wenger, there's already enough Arsenal hypocrites...

As a Spurs fan, I do give you some delusion leeway, but let's keep it a bit realistic.

Equating Flamini's fair tackle, and Gallas' (stupid) kick with that tackle is idiotic.

They have some silverware, the Emirates Cup.

Oh, we aren't counting pointless tournaments?

Zero each, then.

That 'pointless tournament' got us into european competition next year...

To be fair, that's about as shit of a competition, isn't it?

Be honest, UEFA is ****ing mind-numbing.

Spurs versus GTD Motorvagen for about 6 months, then they go out to someone reasonable.

Seriously, the UEFA used to be really good- do you remember? Once they expanded the CL it became unwatchable.

No one cared when Sevilla won it those two years.

Just because the big four aren't interested, doesn't mean noone is.
And yea, Bayern, At Madrid, Villareal, PSV, Spurs, Everton... what a shit tournament.

Get over yourself, success in europe for any club at any level is a big deal (it especially would be for Arsenal since you haven't actually won a genuine European competition yet I dont think), Spurs aren't in the CL so I can't really hold current aspirations of winning it can I?
Yea, I remember when the EUFA cup used to be good... we were actually in it and won it twice, were Arsenal even a part of it then or did you have to wait for it to get watered down?
