As a Spurs fan, I do give you some delusion leeway, but let's keep it a bit realistic.

Equating Flamini's fair tackle, and Gallas' (stupid) kick with that tackle is idiotic.

They have some silverware, the Emirates Cup.

Oh, we aren't counting pointless tournaments?

Zero each, then.

Chelsea took it pretty seriously, and considering the eleven who finished the 5-1 thrashing by Spurs, so to did Arsenal. Pity those teams came up against the mighty Lilly Whites!

In all honesty, this is what I find funny about Spurs fans.

Moan that we keep reminding them how their 5-1 victory was against a third choice team with a third choice goalkeeper, but then keep going on about the 5-1 as if it was achieved at the peak of Arsenal's greatness.

There's an actual DVD coming out of that match, so I hear. At least try to maintain a bit of dignity, guys.

in my opinion, it doesnt matter wat side a team puts out. if you beat that team its going to be a major boost. they could be a reserves side it doesnt matter. a team like arsenal are a great team, and i'm pretty sure their "third choice" team have won a few matches before, so they cant be that bad. and teh way things are going at tottenham they'll take any win they can get for the positives and for morale.

So? Arsenal have a dvd of classic victories over Spurs... It's the nature of a rivalry that victories over the opposition are memorable, it was a good game in which we beat our closest rivals by a heavy margin in the semi final of a cup we went on to win... why wouldn't they release a dvd?

Just because the big four aren't interested, doesn't mean noone is.
And yea, Bayern, At Madrid, Villareal, PSV, Spurs, Everton... what a shit tournament.

Bayern, fair enough. The rest aren't exactly thrilling. No one barring the fans is interested. That's why it's on Channel 5, with The Boy with the Large Face, and Skydiving Weekly. McClaren got to the final of it (and coincidentally won the reserves cup as well).

Get over yourself, success in europe for any club at any level is a big deal (it especially would be for Arsenal since you haven't actually won a genuine European competition yet I dont think)

'You' haven't? Find the post where I say who I support. Arsenal have won the Cup Winners' Cup, in any case.

Yea, I remember when the EUFA cup used to be good... we were actually in it and won it twice, were Arsenal even a part of it then or did you have to wait for it to get watered down?

Arsenal were in it, and to be fair that doesn't really make sense, as since it's been watered down Arsenal have been in the Champions League.

Kind of ridiculous considering Spurs haven't won the league since 1961, and Arsenal have won it many times since then.

Just enjoy the win.

Middlesboro were kinda lucky though... Also, At. Madrid are high in La Liga atm, as are Villareal. Everton are also 4th.
UEFA cup is on itv4 isnt it? All the Spurs games have been.

Assumed you were an Arsenal fan since you talk about them a lot... and like I said, haven't won a genuine European competition, cup winners cup was the easiest to win.

Who's talking about the league? and I will enjoy the win, and i'll enjoy the EUFA cup next year as well, and this year.

I know you enjoy mocking Spurs, its fair enough I guess... but a trophy is a trophy, the carling cup got us into europe for next season, the uefa cup gives us television revenue, success breeds success no matter how 'small'.

What team do you support? I'm guessing it's one of the big four, because your attitude towards any competition except the league or CL would be out of place for any other club.

Yeah, even Cygan is playing well for Villarreal. I dunno about the channel then...I know Bolton are on Channel 5 though. Maybe ITV 4 is the big league of UEFA.

Regarding the league, I mean it's not going to end well comparing Arsenal and Spurs success-wise.

I do enjoy mocking Spurs.

Arsenal are my favourite team in the Prem, same as AC are in Serie A. I wouldn't go so far as to say I support anyone. I just like to watch football that I find entertaining, of which I haven't found much in the UEFA recently.

That's why I'm looking forward to the Euros. Lots of good teams, and no real affinity with any.

I tend to go for the underdog, or a team who hasn´t won it before. Was happy when Greece won it last time, even though they were rather destructive.

I always root for Spain behind England... I guess i'm just a sucker for punishment.

i like the netherlands and portugal, i dont think either are going to win the cup though. netherlands maybe but portugal needs a good out and out striker to make a real go of it.

Sagna, Gallas, Silva, Hleb, and Fabregas all played the majority of that match. Eduardo and Adebayor came on to try and rescue you from the ass-kicking. None of it worked because we thrashed you 5-1.

Suck it up, boys...Take the loss like men, don't do a Gallas.

(Captain!)

Haha...

I'll be backing Croatia just because.

Holland also, I hope they finally do well.

All the good players came on when it was 4-0, the defense was a shambles, Fabianski was all over the place.

There's a reason it's Tottenham's only victory over Arsenal in 9 years. It's not coincidence.

Gilberto is nowhere near a first teamer this season.

Hleb, Silva, Sagna, and Gallas were on from the start, and Febregas was on from the 18th minute. Also, Wenger put on Eduardo and Adebayor in the hope of mounting a come-back, so this shows that Wenger and Arsenal didn't consider it 'pointless'.

I love it how Arsenal people are so good at fabricating their own myths/excuses: "They only came on when we were 4-0 down...He's not a first teamer...We didn't try...Where's my mummy?"

Face up to it, boys...The Lilly Whites are back, and your team is fuct.

Spurs have a long way to go yet.

LOL @ that crybaby wanker William Gallas, a disgrace to captains in the past. Le Arsenal have proven how pathetic a team they are by giving into the pressure and they'll bottle the title for sure now. hahaha

Oh god he's back.

If Arsenal win the league, I am going to somehow find the address of every Man U fan or supporter who has acted like their team have the god given right to the title, and nobody else was ever a threat, and pie them in the face.

It's not even just Arsenal, I feel they genuinely have the absolute worst supporters. Tottenham fans, Arsenal fans, Liverpool fans. They can all admit when they've done shit, and every team has shit fans, but I swear Phat J is the only reasonable Man U fan I've ever heard from.

He put them on to at least salvage a goal, and he did.

Gilberto is hardly a first teamer.

Do you honestly not consider it weird that Tottenham couldn't beat Arsenal for near of a decade, then all of a sudden it's 5-1? Arsenal had a pathetic team out, end of story.

Tottenham came to win and they did, they played well enough to win and deserved the win, but let's not act like it was Arsenal's best team. If it was, they'd not have been 5-1 down.

I'm a Man Utd fan.. If they play shit I say we played shit.

You get fans who don't accept that thier team sometimes play rubbish from every team.. its not just Man Utd fans.

Are you English?
