France are crap apart from Ribery, too many Arsenal players in thier ranks.

But in this competiton anything can happen, even Greece could win 🙂

Russia are going to win the EC and France are crap?

Zenith's success has no affect on the Russian national team. Accept for Arshavin and Progrebnyak the key players in Zenith's team aren't Russian. With that reasoning England should have easily qualified for the EC, considering Man Utd won the CL. Plus, Hiddink is an entirely different coach than Advocaat. The Russian team will probably be a lot slower in the build-up than Zenith.

Hahaha, typical Liverpool fool. The kind that knows nothing about football. Nasri (Possibly) is the only one there really, Gallas. Not many others made it, and I'm glad. Saves them for next season. As if Nasri and Gallas are shit cos they play for Arsenal.

We'll see if Torres, Liverpool's best player, can do well against decent teams, then. Cos he never does usually. Then again, he has a bunch of shits backing him.

He has Cesc Fabregas instead of Gerrard, now.

cant fault you there.

I've always thought his service was not as good as it could be, attributing to his performances only really happening against mediocre teams.

We'll see how he does with a better player backing him.

Can AC post on this thread without mentioning Liverpool or Ronaldo? Thats the question 😎

Yeah.

See.

-AC

Can´t see Spain doing much, especially with Cesc. They are similiar to Arsenal in the way they Bottle it in big games or tournaments.

Haha, knew I could influence your opinion if I tried.

Wicked. Now you look like an idiot.

This rivalry's fairly pathetic. Yes, we know that you're a Liverpool supporter, Bic and that you're an Arsenal supporter, AC. It's beginning to get annoying though, when these clubs are mentioned completely out of context when the only intention is to wind each other up.

It's hardly a rivalry, Bic just takes it personal.

-AC

will be interesting to see what formation spain play. any opinions?

i mean you have 4 world class centre midfielders is, xavi, xabi alonso, cesc, and iniesta. xavi and xabi are both similar but more consistant is xavi, i think he will get the nod. iniesta and fabregas are both fantastic but the coach might go with iniesta because he probably has a better understanding with xavi as they both play together. personally i would play iniesta, xavi and fabregas together

i would pick this team without wingers since the coach hasnt bought any of much class. pretty much similar to milans formation. i would also get villa to hit the flanks .as much as possible. Bought senna in to do the donkey work

This would be MY team
................................casillas

ramos...........puyol.........albiol............capdevilla

...................................Senna
.....................fabregas.............xavi
...................................iniesta

.........................villa
.......................................torres

solid team with a fantastic midfield that will rarely lose the ball at all. Can they do it though?
.

------------Casillas--------------
Ramos-Puyol-Pablo-Capdevilla
-------Fabregas-Alonso---------
--Iniesta-----------------Silva--
-----------Villa---Torres---------

thats the formation the coach will use probably, but with xavi playing instead of alonso

No I don´t, I´m just bored some times so I take your bate and cast my own 😱 😱

There can´t be rivalry between a giant of world football and a mere crumb of a club like Arsenal 🤣

On more serious issues, what thinks England will getbeaten by the USA tomorrow, and who saw Beckhams long distance goal?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qKArFtAeSg

Good goal but easy for him really. I'm sure some American fans thought it was the best goal since ..Well ever.

He made it look easy. Its not as easy as it looks o actually, first you need powerful shooting technique and pretty good accuracy, judgement of the wind etc.

He's scored better goals.

It's fairly easy, especially for a pro. He only had to hit the open net. Distance is a given, accuracy should be as well for any decent player.

Also, Alonso isn't anywhere near world class.

I try to not judge the Americans, but when they go mad about how good he is for shit like that, and how much he's bringing "soccer" to America, it shows their ignorance.

-AC

Well, it's not like our general output isn't an ignorant one. English grit and all that crap.
