Liverpool are lucky to be drawing.

Looks like your Spurs and Portsmouth games are on course, though.

Modric - fouled on the edge of the box... was either a penalty or a freekick - nothing given.
Campbell - fouled well inside the box... - nothing given.

Rob Styles - cnut.

As soon as Man City went a man down I could sense inevitable Liverpool jiff.

come the tigers,up to third😂 (feels dizzy)

So, anyone want to predict the results for the 3 o'clock kick offs in the Premier League?

I'm thinking...

Man City 0-1 Liverpool
Chelsea 1-1 Aston Villa
Tottenham 0-1 Hull City
Everton 1-1 Newcastle
Portsmouth 2-1 Stoke City

It looks like West Ham are screwed already. They're 2-0 down at home to Bolton...

Well, I got 2 right. Not bad. 😄 Ramos is in trouble. I wonder if Newcastle can come back...

Dear Ra The Sun God,

Please make my little Spurs team tick again.

We haven't truly tocked for a while, but we won a trophy last season which is more than Arsenal.

However, I would really like it if we could win a game. Also, scoring would be great, too.

Furthermore, let's pick a settled team and let them gel a bit. Mine would look like this:

1. Gomesinson
2. Corluka
3. Bale
4. Woodgate
5. King
6. Huddlestone
7. Bentley
8. Jenas
9. Bent
10. Giovani
11. Modric

Set these little dudes in a 4-1-3-1-1 formation, and see what happens. It can't be much worse.

Anyway, thanks for listening Ra. Please make my dreams come true.

Love,

Ya

Spurs have a quality team, even though its tough psychologically to fight out of the pit of relegation, I think they´ll do it soon it the next few weeks.

New coach, new players it´ll take time for them to mesh.

Hull 3rd 🙂 wicked, love an underdog doing well

Speaking of that, I see Liverpool are second.

I assume that'd be:

--------------Gomes------------
Corluka--Woodgate--King--Bale

---------Huddlestone---------

Bentley----Jenas------Modric

----------Giovanni----------

------------Bent-------------

If that is the case, I certainly think they could do better than that. Modric clearly isn't happy playing out wide, so I'd play him in the middle probably with Huddlestone, to try to get some balance there, and I'd use Lennon and Giovanni on the flanks, as, frankly, Bentley's been shite all year. I agree with the back 4, at least until Hutton returns. I also think that, if Giovanni were to play on the wing, they'd need someone to partner Bent, and I'd certainly choose Pavlyuchenko over Campbell, who's too similar to Bent IMO. So that would be:

--------------Gomes------------
Corluka--Woodgate--King--Bale

----------Huddlestone-----------
Lennon---------------Giovanni-----
------------Modric-------------

-----Bent------Pavlyuchenko----

Though Spurs desperately need a proper holding midfielder and a new striker, or two. Not that I'm complaining about their current predicament...

I'd have Modric floating in from the left like he does for Croatia, but I'd also tell him to play well. I think that's the key; someone just needs to tell him, "Hey, Luka...Play well, you know? Play well."

I've lost my love for Lennon because he can't cross, and he runs around like a chicken-less head. Also, Jenas demands a place because he always tries, can score, and passes OK, too. Pavlychenko needs some time, so I'd have him swapping around with Bent for a bit.

What we really need though is a F*CKING DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER!

If anyone looks at those prospective teams and wonders why Spurs are not doing very well, they're an idiot.

They've spent silly money and the team is still mediocre. Quite a feat.

imo, even we(hull city)are 3rd its still hell of a fight to stay up

No surprise there though, being a top team eh 😮‍💨

Interesting (ly hilarious) stat: Gareth Bale has never been on the winning team in a Premier League match.

Why is the hilarity so interesting? Can't it just be hilarious on its own?

thats pretty funny, not that i dont believe it but its kind of unbelievable.

Any interesting World Cup qualifiers this weekend.

Germany v Russia should be interesting, to see if Russia can continue their good form from the European thing

I wouldn't be surprised if Russia were completely pwned, to be honest.

Also, it's England/ Wales in the U21 World Cup play-off tonight. 1-1, right now, but England have got the likes of Agbonlahor and Wheater, so that's a bit crap...
