I´m not arguing that Gerrard doesn´t make a meal out of it, or doesn´t dive. Ive seen the youtube videos on him diving when the actual contact made obviously doesn´t cause that theatrical a dive.

The AC Milan game was the point of discussion, and the CLEAR FACT is that he was pulled back and tripped. I added a video frame sill to show the moment when he was fouled. In the video sequence its is too fast to see what the Ref obviously saw. As for the stills added above where he is falling AFTER the foul, that is true case of manipulation.

Congrats to Wolves (if they are promoted), a traditional team is back🙂

Any predictions for tonights CL games?

I recon Bayern v Barca 1:2:- Barca might play a weaker team though, mind you their weaker team will probably be neough to beat Bayern if they play the same technical game as the first team.

Chelsea v Liverpool 2:0 :- I recon Liverpool will try to hard to score early and get hit on the counter attack, and that´ll be that.

If it's a clear fact, how is it a point of discussion? The man is a known diver, he was in the penalty box and his team were losing.

The contact was contestable, so all signs point to a dive.

What a game today, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Back and forth and back and forth.
Shame Liverpool didn't take it but well, if they take the league then I can forgive them. 5 is enough.

Such a great match to watch. I thought Liverpool showed a lot of spirit.

It as a great game indeed. Great goals from Alex and Drogba to get Chelsea back in the game.

4:4 never expected that, some unusual goals as well as some brilliant ones. Alex's free kick was like a guided missile.

You have to give Liverpool 10/10 for effort.

lol @ 10/10 for effort. reminds me of giving all the kids in the class a gold star for finishing their picture.

3 English teams in the Semis, again.

All English final this time as well? Or are Barcelona too strong for Chelsea?

Chelsea are physically, and tactically stronger & therefore more adaptable than Barcelona. Barcelona have one playing style, if Chelsea can break it apart keep Messi out of the game they will stroll it, and I think they will.

Man U are looking tired, they made so many mistakes last nigh, passing mistakes, players sleeping on the ball, especially Anderson who imo doesn't fit in the team at all, they need to play the twins against Arsenal. Arsenal looked refreshed confident, I think they are peeking at the right time and will beat Man united, Theo Walcott is a mega star in the rising & should be in the England first team.

you cant keep messi out the game. the only way you can try is to have two gang up on him. but the amount of time you spend worrying about messi, you then have etoo, henry and iniesta to deal with.

wolves are up and the baggies are down. take that you whores

No 5 Titles for Man U then🙂

Thats what happens when you send boys and defenders to take penatlies.

considering that we only fielded 2 players that would make our starting 11 we didnt do too bad. only arsenal and ourselves could put out a team full of youngsters like that.

united team of the future

----------Foster------------
Rafael--Evans--xxxxx-----Fabio
----- ----xxxxx-------------
Nani---Petrucci----xxxxx--
-----Macheda--Welbeck-----

plus possebon, tosic, gibson, ljajic, simpson, eckersley and probably some others im forgetting.

I really like Rafael and Fabio, Brazilian style right and left backs who can defend. Fosters got a lot to learn Macheda looks world class even now, all you need now is a midfield genius like Ribery or Kaka

How does Macheda look world class already? He's scored a good goal for the first team, and a lucky goal for the first team.

Jesus ****ing Christ... it's 4-4 between Liverpool and Arsenal. I'm terrified... what a game...

Obviously wouldn't have been a Liverpool game without the late jiff.

Still, Arshavin is a bit good.

-AC

it wasnt jiff it was bad marking, there were like 6 or 7 liverpool players in the box to the 3 or 4 scrambling around for arsenal for the 4-4 goal

Because I know what I'm talking about. His movement off the ball, unselfish passing, work rate & technical ability are signs of this.

Such a comment after such a goal filled exciting game, you really are a sad person.

world class gets thrown around way too much, it doesnt mean you're world class if you score one world class goal. you have to do it week in week out for a least a full season to even be thought about being called world class. then continue to do it for 6 or 7 years to be called world class after your career is over and at least have a decent 5 other years.
