I know, he had it in him though... saw the game Westerlo-Club Brugge last year and gotta say it's clear he is one big bloke you don't want running to you 😖true... just one of those keepers in Belgium that's very good but never managed to really break through
yeah he certainly had it in him... but I think the pressure did it. everytime he came on the field everyone expected a lot from him...
now he's doing great in Norway 🙂
and yeah got a point 🙂 now hopefully Tommy will do the same😛
well, he did score a hattrick the first time he played... Bruggse Metten I believe?
sorry, but Tomislav IS a good keeper! how else do you become the second national keeper of your country? by being young and from anderlecht and the luck that the national coach likes that team and not any others? (*cough VANDENBORRE/PEERSMAN/KOMPANY (a bit) cough*)
He was first goalie on euro2004 cause the other one (who plays for Shaktar Donetsk, oh irony) was injured and for the entire tournament I can only blaim him on one mistake:
the game against england, (lost with 3 or 4 goals I believe?) the kick of Rooney, he held his arms in his dive to wide appart

France - Israel tonight. After a pathetic WC in 2002, a bad Euro this year, the French team was completely renewed. 7 players out of the 11 have played with the National team less than 10 times.
Zidane, Thuram, Lizarazu, Desailly (all of them WC champions in 98 and European champs in 2000) have retired.
Grégory Coupet (Lyon, FRA, 31), William Gallas (Chelsea, ENG, 26), Sébastien Squillaci (Monaco, FRA, 24), Gaël Givet (Monaco, FRA, 22) , Bernard Mendy (Paris SG, FRA, 23) , Claude Makelele (Chelsea, ENG, 31), Patrick Vieira (cap)(Arsenal, ENG, 28), Jérôme Rothen (Paris SG, FRA, 26), Patrice Evra (Monaco, FRA, 23), Thierry Henry (Arsenal, ENG, 27), Louis Saha (Man U, ENG, 26).
I tell you this the end of a blessed generation... Let's hope this one will be able to achieve half what the previous one had done.
