Hey Clovie...one of your fellow countrymen just started working where I'm working...he told me Friday he was heading up North with some friends to catch the game Saturday...
The lads, myself included, gave him a good ribbing telling him to wear his bullet proof vest and not wear any national colours for fear of being shot... 😱 He took it in good spirit and proudly proclaimed he'd be decked out head to foot in Poland's colours...
I'm sure he was delighted with the win... 😄 as WE were here down South...and I don't mean us beating Cyprus... 😮💨 Wednesday and Poland should get a draw...but here in Ireland we'll be cheering for a Polish win!!! 😉

sonck played well, I actually quite enjoyed Deflandre the first half, played very decent. Although I'm a brugge fan, I have to say Clement was playing for his standard low, it's clear he doesn't know how to play that position

bleurgh, dunno if it was VRT or VTM, but saying Clement reacted slow and caused the goal was rediculous! Van Buyten didn't headed the ball clear like you should expect and if it was a pass to Clement, he should aim it better, not so weak when a striker is near you!

I would hardly equate *hardly play* with winning 3-0 on Saturday... 🤨 And particularly in light of Wednesday next's opposition throwing away a two goal lead in Vienna...

and our team is a mess! I thought we were finally there when we won the game against Holland and the 1-1 against Norway... well I was wrong...
