AVP 2: Aliens vs Predators

I think this will go down in histroy as a great movie just like aliens !!

Well they said that they wewre going back to the old ways when they made alien 2.

I liked the first AVP. I hope the sequel will be just as good.

Whats with all the ridges in the alien's head? There heads use to be smooth.

That design looks a bit more like the ones from the second Alien film

Being a big fan of the comics, game, and books, I was sh*tting my pants that they finally made an avp movie. I was such a fanboy about it, I loved it. Then later I looked back and went, "damn, I guess that wasn't very good, was it?"

The sequel of course has me just as excited (hell, I play AVP2 the game every night, and just got off), but the fact that it's on Earth again really irritates me. If they would have put it on another planet, the story would have been much better. I don't much care for the human struggle to survive, and I especially don't care for the "leave everyone happy" stalemate of the last movie.

The idea of this great little plot of humans stuck between my two favorite warring sci-fi factions gets me as excited as the idea of sticking my junk in a toaster.

What do I want from this one?
-A sense of the Yautja society
-The horroresque feeling of the Aliens (Xenomorphs...whatever) movies
-Much like Broken Tusk from the comics, I'd like character development for some of them, more than just a grunt or two.
-Rated R, nuff said
-Less playing up of the 'great human hero.' In their individual runs, the Aliens and Predators both needed a foil, something to base the story around...now they have each other.
-Fight. Scenes. They was about as much fighting in the last one as there are condoms in Africa. NOT ENOUGH.

The first one was stupid as hell. But I'll give the second a try, it could get better.

the first one was good but the hole being trapped in a pyramid thing was stupid as hell. i did however find the story of the predators giving the egyptians power a good back story.. if they can run with that and do a prequel then id say avp would be off the hook.

the one in the first alien had a smooth head then in aliens it was ridged

One last thing, in alien 3 we see the original Bishop, who claims to be the designer for the bishop droid series and he wasnamed "Michal bishop". He was stated to be the original bishop and be human, But AVP contradicts that, this takes place by weyland industries, the parent of weyland yutani where "Charles weyland bishop" is claimed the original bishop by AVP movie.

AVP had great potential but it sucked. I hope the second one doesn't.

I agree, the first part, had just great action, but no story, like the 2 first Alien movies, the 2 part, better have a stronger plot.

Plot? screw that, I they better have more actual Alien vs. Predator fight scenes.

In the first one, the first two Predators are killed so easily, and teh final Pred's fight scenes were weak. He just blasted everyone away. In this next oen I want to see more AvP and less humans and character development.
