Did Mace Die?

Sure, Mace had his hands cut off - so did Anakin, Luke, Vader, etc., and they didn't die. Sure, he was thrashed by Palpatine's lightning, but so were Anakin, Luke, and Vader, and they all lived. (In fact, Palpatine shocked himself for 10 times as long as he did Mace, and he stood up afterward not even weakened noticeably) Sure, Mace was thrown from the window, but Obi was tossed about as far from his lizard, and he survived; besides, Mace is a jedi master! Can't jedi, like, use the force to slow themselves while falling (Luke in Courtship of Princess Leia)?

So, did he, or not? Why do you think that?

All those things you mentioned happened to him in quick sucession, not years apart.

And Obi had the luxury of water, Mace got about a million speeders and the gound. You remember how tall coruscant skyscrapers are, he fell a long way.

He Died at the hands on Sidious lightning bolts.

obi survived because he fell in water. and mace hit hard ground. i think being in pain and all he wouldnt have the time or the strength to slow his fall.

Mace landed in one of those flying cars and went into exile in a nursing home...

Mace and Jar Jar are going to be digitally put into the cantina scene in ANH. Aparently the story is that they tried to form an intergalactic singing duet but were kicked down to the scummy streets and bars on tattooine. They now have a musical number in ANH.

he died, thank god, I think he was lame, hehe no offence but, if you have seen the webdocs from EP2, Samule Jackson is like, omg im so great with the lightsaber bla bla bla, and when you get to see him in action in Ep3 HE SUCKED!!! OMG he sucked so big time, and he talks as if he would be the best lightsaber master of them all..

If you are having sith lightning revealing the bones underneath your skin to the rest of the world, chances are you are not doing too good.

by watching the movie, you never know how strong the lightning affects the person. So maybe people will only believe it when they see an actual dead body. The elevation of Mace as he was hurled out of the bulding is not known. Although its pretty obvious that Mace Windu is no longer relevant
