It's considered distributing pornography...She has problems..
I agree with the first part. It is distributing pornography. But not just pornography...but pornography that features minors. I can understand why they didn't drop the issue when they found out it was the minor in the pictures that was the one distributing the pictures. The people she sent them to shold be pissed off, unless they knew she was 15.
Why is everyone so surprised about this? She broke the law. It is child porn. This is like those cases where people are punished for sex with minors and the minors are made out to be the victim when most times the minor had just as much to do with the instigation than the person who sleeps with the minor. A fifteen year old girl posting nude pics of herself is just asking to be preyed upon by dirty old men. Of course she should be punished. Ignorance is only realized when it is pointed out.
they probably think that someone is putting her up to it, because in the eyes of the law a 15 year old cant legally consent to all of that. In arresting her on those charges, theyre probably hoping she'll give up "who put her up to it" or give up the names of people she chatted with, in hopes of a lighter sentance
i think she should be charged with distributing child porn... but thats it.
i doubt she'll end up doing much time for it, plus her records will be sealed when she turns 18 anyways.
