Sentry is hella overrated, and Apollo a bit underrated...
But, to be perfectly honest, I've never seen a feat from even a sun-dipped Apollo that would make me feel he'd beat the Sentry - and I do believe I've read most, if not all, of Apollo's appearances.
Even if Sentry's aura somehow amped Apollo, I don't see it being enough for the latter to win over the former.

Also, Genis killed Heimdall with one shot (which he said was the equivilant of one of his finger's worth of force) and Heimdall has given Thor trouble in the past.

See, that's a more coherent defense of Genis. The normal "ZOMG STALEMATEZZ TEH KING THro!!!1!" is obviously lacking.
Really throughout his Insane run getting hit by KT and fighting Phylla were just about the only low-showings he had. Every other issue he just did whatever the hell he wanted with no limits. He had the Shiar, Kree and Skrull empires trembling in fear of him. He's even more powerful as Photon because he was amped by the moonstones.
I'm also curious as to why you think Terrax was depowered when Sentry fought him.

Did I use the word depowered? I don't remember. This thread is at least months old, and was bumped randomly.
He's a legit planet-buster, so it seems like a low showing just to have his axe stopped by Sentry without trouble. But there's no evidence of depowerment, so if I used the term it was the wrong one to use.
