slipknot or mudvayne?

Slipknot

Mudvayne went soft. They used to be so creative, now they're pretty much pop. Slipknot, whom I used to dislike, have reaaaaaaaaally matured as artists, and I think Corey Taylor is passionate as ****..so..the Knot by a mile.

well,i like both,but slipknot has toned down a hell of a lot more than mudvayne

i can't decide. i like them both for different reasons

I've never liked Mudvayne so I'd say Slipknot.

Eep! Slipknot is scary! I am going with Mudvayne at least they sing a bit in their songs,. Slipknot is just mindless screaming most of the time...*shudder*

mudvayne since ive heard more of their songs and they seem to be just a little bit softer than slipknot.

New stuff, not so much. Corey's got great chops, the Stone Sour album shows that. He's got an intriguing voice, especially on the spoken word track at the end of the SS album.

slipknot or mudvayne? definately slipknot..

I love LD 50, there's little debate in that Mudvayne is a very talented band. Unfortunately, as CA said, they went soft with their newer stuff.

So I gotta go with Slipknot.

As Stone Sour they were ok. As Slipknot, awful. Mudvayne has a few listenable tracks. So.... Mudvayne.

I don't like Mudvayne, so it would have to be Slipknot, like a few songs by Slipknot.

Slipknot. Mudvayne have always annoyed me for some reason.

BOTH yeah its not what the questions asking but w/e i like slipknots new song but i also like mudvaynes ive heard more of mudvayne that i like than slipknow but slipknot are still awsome *exscuse my use of the word awsome but it came to mind *

I hate the new slipknot cd.If was pretty much stone sour only under a different name.They even had an acoustic song!that's the reason I now hate seven dust and god smack.

Imo system of a down is now better than both.They're still pushing the boundries.

just because Slipknot do songs that arn't 3 minutes of screaming dosn't mean they've gone soft or are just "stone sour under a different name." Pantera made "suicide notes part one" and no one said "that albums shit, they've gone soft." Vol 3 is Slipknot maturing as artists. hating a band because they're expanding their horizons is pretty weak.

and while System are very very good, they arn't really forging new paths in the music world
