have you listened to their new cd? if you did, you'd see that they made a cd that is very recent in its style, you can hear slipknot and mudvayne in there if you listen, they made another musical triumph

Well I think it depends on how your comparing them.Vocals I think they're pretty much on par.Corey might have a bit more range on the lighter vocals,but the guy from Mudvayne I think has more of a heavy range.
When it comes to gutiar they both have their moments.The guy from Slipknot is awesome with the chops.I think Mudvayne gets a little more in depth with it in some parts though.
When it comes to bass Playing Mudvayne deystroys Slipknot.
Drum wise Slipknot has definetly got more of an assault on your ears going on.It's dead on and their.Mudvayne has more of almost a jazz like sound to some of the drumming.

I think it comes down to just who you prefer better though.

I'm becoming more and more fond of Slipknot with every day.

I like them both the same, I don't think that they are too comparable though. Sure they may be pretty heavy but they don't really sound a like, I love both bands and I don't think Mudvayne's new stuff got softer, but if it did, it doesn't matter, Slipknot's Subliminal Verses definiteley had tamer vocals but the guitar didn't sound any softer, but they've got some good tunes. But it's good for bands to change so you don't have to listen to the same thing over and over, that's what's good about System Of A Down, sure some of their songs may have sounded somewhat alike at one interval or another, but no albums sounded the same which was good, because it's always a new experience.

So there is my opinion, don't know if you liked it, but if you didn't then hey, shit happens. I never said you had to agree

They´re both different bands...Slipknot and Stone Sour i mean.Off course Slipknot and Mudvayne are different banfds to.As are Stone Sour and Mudvayne.
