This thread, down a dark path leads.
But yeah...I agree. For all the wisdom Yoda had he could've been a bit more understanding that Anakin may not see things his way. "Have a problem, you do? Life that is, suck it up you must." Maybe if Yoda (and other certain jedi) were a little more considerate, Anakin wouldn't have gone to Palpatine for ego boosts and advice so much.
I guess Yoda`s a Dark Side alarm or smth... The guy`s 800, show some understading...
Yoda wishes to show everyone the path to become an absolute Jedi, one who is compleatly submurged in the Light Side, disregarding Evil and its ways. Yet, this is the ultimatly the doom of the Jedi, for nothing is pure white or pure black. One must learn to overcome his own darkness, thus becoming stronger, but one cannot live experiencing only half of his feelings. It is practically impossible; we are born with both hate and love, happiness and sadness and if we are wise, we learn to use each of these feelings in the appropiate context - it is called adaptability. I believe Lucas wants to teach us this thing through the flaws of the Jedi philosophy. This is the cause for the rise of the Sith...
Take what you consider useful of his teachings and ignore the rest. Nobody`s perfect, not even a cool swordsman with a unique dialect...
