I'm sure not ALL French people are bad people. It just seems like as a whole they are pretty rude towards Americans. They probably treat English people differently.

I've only known one French person in my entire life and she was pretty cool besides her whole "America sucks" attitude. If you in America sucks and you live in another country, good for you. If you think America sucks and you live here, you're just a pain in the ass.
