71. The original landspeeder from STAR WARS was repainted green and can be seen in the establishing shot of Mos Espa in THE PHANTOM MENACE.

72 - The Millennium Falcon's targeting readout was inspired by a paperweight Lucas had once seen on Arthur C Clarke's desk.
73 - Contrary to popular belief, Slave One was NOT inspired by a streetlamp outside ILM.

74. Chewbacca was based on Lucas's dog Indiana.

75 - the word Wookiee was improvised by Terry McGovern while working on THX 1138. he made a blunder and exclaimed, "I think I ran over a wookiee back there." Lucas liked the word and kept it in mind.

77 - Some of the more bizarre ideas from the first draft of the ESB script included: Vader going into a retreat to his deep lava cave with pet gargoyles and demons; Lando being a Clone who survived the Clone Wars and, when 3PO is "smashed" on the Cloud City, Vader out takes his robotic heart and crushes it.

78. The idea to give Darth Vader a breathing apparatus was artist Ralph McQuarrie's. The idea was that Vader would need it in order to travel from one space ship to another.

90 - The THX sound system actually has nothing to do with Lucas' first film THX 1138, it is merely an acronym for Tom Hollman Experiment, the person who developed the system. Much to Hollman's chagrin, Lucas has done little to deflate the fortuitous connection between the system's name and his first film.

91. The planet name 'Coruscant' was created by author Timothy Zahn in May 1991 for his book Heir to The Empire. Lucas liked the name and included shots of Coruscant, the Imperial Capital, in the end montage of Return of the Jedi in the '97 'Special Edition'.

92. Princess Leia is a great shot... she almost never misses. This is probably something she inherited from her mother, Padme, who also almost never misses.

93: during the filming in norway for ESB, they had the worst weather there for over 10 years (cant remember the exact number)

94: The word "lightsaber" is never mentioned in TPM. Anakin called it a "Lasersword"
