Hall Pass - The Freshman Party

"Uh, yeah, I didn't know it was going to happen, but I think I screwed up, and no, no invite yet." she shrugs and gets her notebook out.

"Yeah, my friend Jake is the biggest party animal you can meet. Let me get him." Zak said then turned and yelled to Jake. "Hey do you think you could get us an invite somehow??"

"Sorry man," he tells you, seated two rows back, "Just ask Kyle yourself."

He points at a blond-haired prep sitting amidst all the others, centre of attention.

"Don't think he'll agree, 'less you get some 'sinthe."

Allor groaned. "We're doomed."

At that precise moment, you hear the word 'absinthe' and see some very dirty looks toward the goths from the preps

Zak gulped and sat next to Kyle, but tried to look cool.

" Hey, I heard about your party. How can I get an invite?" Zak asked

Allor rolls her eyes. "Okay, calm down." she tells the preps. "They're human just like the rest of us. You'd keep it to yourself too if you were in their position." then she goes back to picking at her black finger nail polish. She had somehow managed to sneak out of the house with it.

Come on, mordamor, mate. Who talks to somebody like that?! You have to like actually know the guy a little, or make friends with someone who is respected. We can scratch that and try again, if you want.

A couple of the preps look at you weirdly, but most of 'em quieten down a little, and turn back to watching the confrontation between Zak and Kyle.

No. I'm not saying something like that at first, and then looking that its wrong quickly editing my post. And since I think Vlad would want to take a shot at this.

Guys, the point I was making is that directly approaching any situation like that doesn't work, usually.

A reputation means you get a bonus to rolls, not that they are all friends with you.

Not so many seats near Kyle, they're taken up by his friends. He's the centre of the group, more or less. You can sit with the preps and try and get 'in' with them, though.

If so, a prep replies,
"Hey, I'm Austin."
