"Good to know," Jelena says, with a nervous grin. "I'm sure you are a very charismatic leader in combat as well as any other situation that I have seen yet."

Jelena bends to Sunda. "Roan wished for me to watch over you, but I will have to lend you to the aid of the ground forces. You will be safe among them. Keep in touch by comlink, okay?"

She turns back to Anaz. "I am adept in the art of defensive maneuvers with my lightsabers, General, and not only for myself. I am sure you are a skilled warrior, but if you find yourself needing to concentrate on tasks other than defending, I will be with you."

"Thankyou," says Anaz, "but that won;t be necessary."

He checks his watch. Ten minutes.

Jelena nods.

Oh, do hurry, Roan... she thinks, anticipating the battle. She takes her lightsabers from her belt and holds them each in a hand, inspecting them.

"In a few moments I will be in the thick of combat against an untrained enemy that does not deserve death. May the Force have mercy upon them."

(Yes, Andro will do whatever he can to keep droids away from Gallagher. If he can manage it, he'll try to clear up his hsot a little while he's at it. Go Team. 😖 )

Gallagher shoots, Gallagher scores! Of course, as he had to blatantly bend the ball past opposition, there was no way he could hide it. Varm performs an almost comical double-take...

... and then turns and flees out the control room.

Roan- lacking Intrusion, you cannot sneak your way over to the guns. You'll have to make a fight of it.

(Oh Hell. Ah, not like we didn't see that coming. Alright Gallagher, the schrade is over, take Zaland back to no man's land to protect you, I'll bring you the ball. From there you can end the game in one shot. Put everything into it you can, it doesn't matter now. We need to get after Varm.)

"Well, there goes the party Gallagher! Let's get this over with and go after him. Hopefully we can still catch them before someone gets away." Andro stays in the middle, waving Gallagher adn Zaland into the far third, ot end the game.

Well, I don't think there is any need to make more of the game than there is. The bad guys are alerted to your presence, but soon after (and I shall be kind and not add more damage), you manage to get the last shot in by blatant cheating, from Push/Pulling droids out the way to guiding the shot with Throw.

The droids spin on the spiot and shutdown. However, your situation is now this- the arena doors are sealed; it will take Andro time to fix-it past them (luckily he does HAVE Fix-it, else you would be in trouble).

However the doors ouyt of the sports area are sealed also. It;s going to take time to get out. Two points in your favour are:

1. Hasina is in the viewing gallery, currently unconscious.

2. There is a communications unit in the gallery also.

Due to the specific nature of that action scene, and the fact that nomne of the damage is lasting, you may remove half your damage suffered (rounding down, in favour of you); any Force powers that heal can also be used to double effect. Double-effect Medicine rolls may also be made, but only by someone not doing anything as you try and get out of here.

Well then can I go wtih my first plan and drop off the wall near-er to the guns as they are gonna know where I am anyway....

Gallagher will use Invigorate, and make a Medicine roll on Andro. That should bring Gallagher down to no damage, since everything is working double.

(Merciful? I doubt it. More like pity at the spot we've put ourselves into. This investigation may be totally screwed, we need to hurry and salvage what we can. They know Jedi are on their way to foil their plans and arrest them. They are no doubt getting ready to flee, destroying evidence, possibly setting more traps for us.

There is a chance that some may actually escape punishment, as Varm is really the only one we've effectively tied into this. We have very little on Dr. Mirani, and nothing but circumstantial speculation on Twain. Plan time.

Here's my thoughts: You heal yourself like you said, and me if you can do it while I work on getting out. After you're done with that, get to Hassina in the gallery. Find out if she knows anything about what's going on. If she doesn't, she may still have knowledge that could help, like where Mirani might go, where the Abbot was last seen, stuff like that. I'll keep on working on breaking out of here. While you're in the gallery, see if the comm unit Ush talked about can call the Jedi in. The investigation is over, all we can do now is try to catch those involved red handed.

I'll head for the Tranquil Repose, see if they're still finishing up there. If not, I'll go to the Synod's loading dock and hopefully find Varm. Keep Zaland with you, in case you run into trouble. Without your saber, you're no good in a fight, as we know, so I'll have to deal with Varm myself. After you're done here, go to find Dr Mirani. you and Zaland should be able to handle him. Hopefully you'll be able to get something out of him, maybe he'll be destroying evidence or something, I don't know. Also, either before or after going for Mirani, you might want to check on the Abbot. I'm not sure who he'd be with, so I might find him or you might. Twain is also someone we need to seek out, I'm hoping we'll catch him with one of the others. There's a lot to do here, and if we're careful and really lucky, we might pull it all off yet. What are your thoughts?)

As the droids fall inactive, Andro runs o Gallger. "How are you? Will you be alright?" He points to the viewing gallery. "We need to get you up there, talk to Hassina and see if you can call in the Jedi. I'll work on getting us out of here. After we're out, I'll go after Varm, and I think you and Zaland should go check on the Abbot. Maybe you could also see if you can catch up with Dr. Mirani. We may yet catch him up in this plot. What do you think?"

"It sounds like we need to act fast," Gallagher says, nodding. "That will do nicely. Hurry up with the door, we need to set our plan in action. Varm is done for, but we still need to call in our forces and find a way to grapple Kathya, Deel, and Mirani into this. And the Abbott still needs protecting as well."

(Tranquil Repose sounds like a good place to head)

From the communications room, can Gallagher call interplanetary?

(Andro will indeed head out for Tranquil repose as soon as he gets everything open. So to clarify:
Gallagher heals us as per his original post.
Andro will open any doors in the group's way.
Andro will then RUN to the Tranquil Repose.
Gallagher and Zaland will start with the Gallery, rouse and consult Hassina, use the comm, and go from there. If anything can be done concurrently, like healing me while I get a set of doors open, great.)

As the Jedi set to work freeing themselves, Andro looks at his companion."Oh, and Gallagher. If you get a hold of Master Fisto, have him send us our lightsabers!"

"I have no doubt that they would bring those with their coming," Gallagher replies, patching one of Andro's minor injures while his fellow Jedi works on the door.

"Yeah, well, I just want to make sure." he grins.

Gallagher returns a nervous grin. "I will. We will need them. I doubt Varm or Kathya will go quietly."

(Well, that's not exactly what I meant. I doubt they'll get here in time fr that. I was just trying to be funny, Andro really misses his lightsaber. He feels very much out o place with out it. No, I think it will all be over by the time the Jedi arrive. They're just coming to haul away the culprits.)

Ok, you really have time for two 'things' each.

Trying to unlock doors is a thing, and needs doing twice.

Rousing Hasina- who Varm hit pretty hard- is also a thing, and needs Medicine.

Using Medicine on a person is a thing.

Contacting the Jedi is a thing. It will take at least an hour before any blockade is in position so I am afraid if anyone buggers off right now you won't catch them. However, not calling them will hardly help. And yes indeed, it would take about a day for anyone to get here from Coruscant.

Twain's gone- was just leaving as you guys went to play, if you remember.

However, in your favour, Zaland has Medicine at 10.

"Part of my job, if you think about it," he explains.

All of this will take you about fifteen minutes.

Ok, Roan, you leap down, rather impressively. There are 18 people around here, armed with blaster rifles from a collection. They all raise them immediately at you. What's your move?

"Seven minutes," says Kuylen, as the engines rev and roar. The infantry seem to be forming up behind the bikes, Jelena, which makes no sense to you at all. Even with the main guns knocked out, this is going to be a slaughter. The whole point was that Anaz can't do it without his heavy guns.

Andro's two things will be unlocking the doors, Gallagher will rouse Hasina and contact the Jedi, and Zaland can use Medicine on Andro.

"Indeed it is," Gallagher says to Zaland, nodding. He waits patiently for Andro to unlock the first door.
