No Persuasion = no help from Hasina.
No luck, Gallagher. Even with your powers, you'd need to know someone a lot better to pick out their presence inside a large facility like this.
"I'll go get my gun," says Zaland. "Perhaps you should stay with me, Gallagher? And Andro- watch yourself. Kathya and Varm are both armed. Are you sure you want to rush?"
(Hmmm... This is going to be tricky then. I believe I'll use Sense for a cautious approach to the TR, and once I arrive, I'll use what Intrusion I have to sneak in and around to see what's up. I'll plan further once I know the score inside. Also, quick reminder, I'm leaving for the Hospital tomorrow early. So this could be my last post for a few days. Have fun Alkaselzer. I'll get back in here as soon as possible. With a little luck, it might not be very long.)
Andro stops his running, realising that he'll run into one or two armed adversaries shortly. It didn't go all that well last time, so he opens his senses and continues on at a more reasonable, but hurried pace. He has to be the one to get the drop on them this time.
You are going to be under fire from defenders on the ealls whilst disabling the guns as it is, Roan. But doing it whilst people are actually right next to you, shooting at pointblank range and trying to beat you up... impossible. These defenders must be cleared.
"Four minutes," says Anaz. "Hmmm..."
And as I said, you don't really know, Jelena- it depends how Anaz drives.
"He's not going to do it," says Sunda, suddenly. "He's going to try and find a peaceful solution. Why would he be so stupid?"
-
Ok, Andro, you sneak off towards Tranquil Repose.
There's a loading operation going on. Crates are being removed from there. From behind a water cooler, you can see the various members of the Abbot's delegation hauling stuff out.
And EACH of them is armed with a blaster rifle.
-
"Uhh, not quite first," says Zaland. "First, my gun."
And well that he insists, as you get the comm message from Andro at this point that the entire delegation is armed; without your sabre you could walk into a deathtrap.
Jelena turns to look at Sunda, with a surprised look.
"Sunda! I know we are about to enter a battle, but your Master is a great man. If I had a say in the matter, none of this would be happening, so however Roan is working things out, I'm sure he is doing the best he can."
"You should not be so inclined to fight."
Now you think about it, Gallagher, it's always been Kathya and Varm you have seen ordering the delegation around. You thought they werte just taking the strain off the Abbot, at first.
Ok, you are heading to Mirani. Any plan?
-
"If you had a say in it?" says Sunda. "If it wasn't for you telling Volun to his FACE that you thought he was being paid, this wouldn't have happened!"
Possibly.
If he's already been alerted, he won't be willing to talk to me, but unless he's actually some twisted individual like Varm or Kathya and the kindly doctor is just a front, Gallagher would like to talk to him.
If he is more like Varm and packing a Derringer up his sleeve or something, Zaland can be at the ready.
If he hasn't been informed, Gallagher will do it for them.
Jelena sighs, and turns to face him.
"You must understand, Sunda, being a strong Jedi Knight is not about the power you are capable fo wielding through the Force. Your Master has that, but that is not the only reason he is a respected member of the Order, or the leader of this mission, or your Master, for that matter. Morals also supplement this greatness. If being a Knight was solely about our skills with lightsabers or our powerful connection to the Force, we would be no better than those who fall to the Dark Side. Diplomacy and morals, Sunda. Diplomacy and morals."
