USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (JEDI)- Revelations

Ok, well, you are going to be under fire whilst you do it!

The gun fires. An enormous cannon blast flies out in an instant towards Anaz's column...

... and falls slightly short. Jelena, it looks like an enormous mountain of earth just flung itself at you guys; it whips all around you.

"Evasive manoeuvres!" orders Anaz.

Not much I can do about that can I?
Does that relate to security? Can I use the Little device thingy?

That will certainly make your roll easier!

Awesome, I'm gonna do that.

As Roan starts to frantically fiddle with the gun on one hand, and fend off fire with his lightsabre with the other, the gun fires again.

Anaz's bikes have started to sway left and right. Almost like a bobsleigh, they have begun to drift out right onto the walls of the valley, and then use the momentum as they drop to swing back left, rising on the other side. The effect is that they seem to be snaking along the valley at high speed, following each other side to side, and spoiling the shot from the guns.

Nonetheless, now they are closer, there is little they can do to avoid fire; the second shot blasts near the column, and bikers are vaporised and thrown into the air.

Behind them, a mash rush of infantry is charing down the Valley.

OK, lets go...

Jelena clings on tightly to Anaz's bike, and feels the heat of the second blast and the bikes it vaporizes quite close.

"Hurry, Roan..." she says, closing her eyes tightly.

Gallagher's eyes go wide as the grenade flies in, and he attempts to use Reaction - Push/Pull to fling the Grenade back out of the room.

"Protect Mirani!" he shouts to Zaland and Ithrorn.

By the way, Ush? A skill of 11 is pretty high for people who are supposed to be untrained farmers, isn't it? 😑

No what he said what that MY combat skill is 11, and instead of my higher lightsabers skil, I would be rolling off of that ,and thus be taking mroe damage, because I would be easier to hit...

Oh, okay. Phwew, I thought he meant the mooks... 😖

Good Lord no, 11 is Osokan level! These guys are sixes.

The third blast lands a direct hit on the middle of the column as it continues its snaking manoeuvre. You are not sure of you understand it, Jelena- it may be harder to hit but it is slower, giving the gun more time to fire!

But then, why worry? These bikes will be blown to pieces once you reach the firing zones outside the walls anyway. May as well die earlier...

But then there is no fourth blast, as a sweating Roan shuts off the main gun. You are still under fire, Roan. Adrenaline floods though you.

Your reactions are somewhat sluggish, Gallagher, and the grenade goes off pretty quickly. Then there is blaster fire pouring into the room, and you catch a glimpse of Varm.

(When Andro gets close enough to see/hear what's going on, he'll comlink this message to Gallagher🙂

"Gallagher, throw my saber out the door so I can grab it!"
(If he gets that off, I want ot use push/pull to retrieve it.)

At the point you get there, Andro, all you can see is the fleeing figures.

Jelena opens her eyes to see if she can spot Roan.

"Does this mean all the guns are down? He came through?"

Gallagher keeps clear of the blast, then ignites his lightsaber.

"Zaland, keep Mirani detained!" Gallagher shouts to him. "I can handle myself now that I have my lightsaber! Ithrorn, you with me?"

I'm afraid you weren't THAT clear of the blast- it was a stun grenade.

By the time you get up, Mirani has gone.

Spot Roan? Not a chance, he's ionside that fortress.

"The Main gun overlooking the valley is down," yells Anaz back. "There are hundreds of smaller ones that we are coming into range of..."

"Great..." Gallagher grumbles, and motions for Ithrorn and Zaland to follow him out in to the hall.

"Oh dear..." Jelena says, igniting one of her lightsabers, readying herself to defend Kuylen and herself from incoming blaster fire.

"Wait- what's your plan?" asks Ithrorn.

Jelena, despiute the fact that the main guns have stopped firing, Anaz is continuing his rocking swing from side to side. You are nauseous and almost physically sick with the rocking, and you can barely see the walls ahead, let alone try and intercept gunfire!

Which is now starting up, by the way. Everyone is moving into the death zone and there can be no escape.
