USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (JEDI)- Revelations

"I have a bad feeling about this," says Sunda. "General Kuylen is right; these people are indisciplined thugs. They have already acted irrationally; who knows what they might try? I don't want you to go there alone."

Gallagher will attempt to shoot from No-Man's Land, using a small touch of the Force with Push/Pull to steady it and improve his shot.

"I thank you for your concern, Sunda," Jelena says, a grin stretching to the corners of her mouth. "I have a strange feeling, though...I do not think Volun will put us in danger...and it will shed light on my visions, or so I hope."

"That's only more reason for me to come," says Sunda. "Your visions see danger. If there is danger, you need protection."

"Not what I meant," Jelena says with a little chuckle. "I confided in Roan my thoughts...I might tell you."

"Have you had any visions?"

He looks embarrassed.

"Not yet..." he says.

"Ah, nothing to be embarrased about, young one," Jelena says. "Visions will come to you, in time."

(Bah, I remember Vilpa saying something about the white-haired woman, which Takuan and Rand saw...depends on Marcus, really)

"I hope so," he says. "But I always make sure to stay focussed on the here and now."

"Come," says Volun. "It's time to go." He's fine with you keeping your sabres.

"Lead the way," Jelena says.

As they walk along, she puts a reassuring hand on Sunda's shoulder.

"Roan must be lucky to have such a fine Padawan."

There is a most almighty melee in the middle as just about everyone blocvks everyone...

... in the midst of which, Gallagher can manage a sneaky force roll to increase his shot, giving him a +2 bonus...

And he rolls +4! For a total of 17! Score!

A klaxon sounds as your shot goes in.

One round's grace...

"No," says Sunda, "I am lucky to have such a Master. One who has faced down the powers of the Sith themselves!"

After leaving the tent, Volun meets some more of his men out in No-Man's land. They hand him back his blaster, which he slots back into his holster- which you note is no decorative or formal piece of clothing, but a low-slung combat job.

Jelena smiles. "Yes, Roan has done great things in his past years as a Knight. I would not be surprised if the Council granted him the rank of Master in a few years time."

Jelena keeps note of Volun's blaster.

"If they have any sense they will," says Sunda.

Soon, you have arrived at the Gates to the Sanctuary- just as you remember them from your vision, shattered off their frames... must have been quite a blast.

They are open enough for people tp slip by. Volun beckons you in.

"No worries, the Council has plenty of sense," Jelena says, with a sly grin.

Wait, they're already shattered off their frames?

Jelena follows Volun into the Sanctuary.

No, only shattered in the vision, sorry!

Some men are on guard inside. They are armed with weapons of a design unfamiliar to you.

"Any luck, Volun?" one asks.

"Pointless," he replies

"Who are the travllers?"

"Jedi," says Volun. "Come to see what we have to say."

"Ha!" he replies, dismissively.

You are in the lobby right now- a cross between a well-kept museum and a visitor's centre.

Oh, confusion there...

"Those blasters are unfamiliar to me," Jelena says to Volun, still following him. "You have not done any harm to the Sanctuary, I trust?"

"Not yet," he says, leading you in. "So, what is your position on all this?"

"Impartial, as I said." She follows, keeping close to Sunda. "I had hoped that we could reach a peaceful negotiation without dismantling the current, long-standing government, but it seems that it will not happen."

He leads you out to the magnificent forecourt. The Sanctuary is the size of a small town, with its own array of schools, universities, entertainments and museums, but surrounding all these buildings is a considerable amount of picturesque parkland.

"No it won't," he says. "And someone can ACT impartial, but no-one in the entire Galaxy genuienly has no inner opinion. Laying aside your task as a diplomat right now- because I get enough of that from the Z'Har- what do you really THINK of all this?"

"Confused, at best. About a number of things."

"I am sure the Z'Har have filled you in on things."
