USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (JEDI)- Revelations

Started by Jazzman_78143 pages

Andro sees Varm's tactic and decides to meet it head on.
"Surround Twain!" he yells at his Droid teammates in no-man's land. Then he runs straight for the Priest, an old axion about paybacks amusingly coming to mind.

(I'll take care of Varm, I don't want him to be able to intercept the ball or Gallagher, hopefully the droids can keep the rest of their team busy enough for Gallagher to go to work. It's up to you Alkaseltzer, shoot from there or run for a better shot.)

Now, that was unexpected! Andro switches to a physical game, and he and Varm clash together with enough force to surprise the preist and send HIM to the ground!

No-one was expecting a shot from their for Gallagher, and with Twain moving to intercept a pass to Andro, he is out of position. It is a difficulty 15 shot from there for Gallagher, and he rolls +2, but another +2 from his push makes it a score!

The klaxon sounds loudly, and Twain gives a look of disbelief.

This provokes a smile from Gallagher. He is actually enjoying himself.

Not doing THAT again... Gallagher thinks, seeing Twain's look of disbelief. Gallagher Scans him quickly, to see if he thinks anything suspicious.

You don't think so- certainly not on a one-off.

(Alright, Great shot!
BUT. I've been wondering lately if it's better to win or to lose this game? I mean, we've never played before, and we're starting to trounce the Varsity squad here. Like you already said, better not 'Force' the issue any more, but I keep wondering how the outcome of this game affects the overall situation. Just something to think about.)

Andro cheers "Great shot Scroop! What incredible luck!", and then offers his hand to help Father Varm to his feet.

(I'll stay in this third again.)

If you choose to play to lose, I can conclude things; play to win, and we must play out.

Ball comes centre!

(Naw you should play to win... Just no more super crazy stuff...)

(Don't get me wrong, I wanna play it out, and my competitiveness (and Andro's) wants to win. I was just musing about if or how the outcome might affect the Episode, or how a win might make us look. Just wanted to pass along the thoughts to Alkaseltzer.)

Andro races once again toward the spot the ball is falling, trying to beat out the crowd in the center.

(Andro will try another Gather.)

Miss some shots
Don't be too suspicious.
Use push/pull to miss a few.

Marked by Varm, Andro cannot get there before Deel does.

If the Cassilis crew don't come up with ideas soon, events will oertake them.

(I'll block Varm.)

Beaten to the ball by his nemesis Varm, Andro switches directions to try to foul up his shot.

It's Twain with the ball, Andro.

OOPS! Read it wrong, I'll take Twain instead.

Fine,
I'll go talk to the apathetic Miran....

With a silent 'a', hmm? He eyes you, suspiciously, from his chair of snoozing near Kuylen's command tent.

"Venerable Zhar... I know you don't like me here, and would like nothng more for me to leave and let you deal with this situation on your own. But Please hear me out. First of all, I don't think your a bad person. Nor do I think that everything you've done is bad. It is quite the opposite. What you've done for your people, the welfare, the health care. It is something to be admired and imitated across the galaxy. But this course of action can not lead to sucess. Volun has placed Incinderary Bombs in the depth of the Santuary, adn plans to detonate them if you attack..."

"Any praises you wish to place upon the running of Cassilis should go to the Government, not I, much as I would agree with you. Yes. Indeed. The Z'Har are to be admired and respected, something I feel you are prone to forget easily, or profess to know but do not act upon.

"Volun's actions are irrelevant. The Sanctuary must be re-taken, and if you had any sense you would send in the troops now."

Must be said, Deel is on form with those shots! With Varm marking Andro again, Deel scores!

"It seems to me that you are a bit eager to attack the santuary no matter what the potential damage may be."

"Yes I am," he says, "before we reach the point where the potneital for harm becomes too great. I am in fact very eager indeed. The attack must come now. Volun's threats are meaningless."
