"You would let him destroy the 25000-year-old original Constitution of the Republic? Let him destroy pieces of the original Jedi Temple of Ossus? Let hiim destroy the other countless, priceless artifacts?"

"I am not forcing him to destroy anything. I imagine he will leave the Constitution intact; it suits his views to do so. But unless Volun is in control of the Vault, nothing there is worth giving into him for."

Andro stays in center again.

And it comes out centre!

"In control?"

"Yes indeed. Until then he can threaten nothing... of immeasurable consequence."

"He seemed pretty in control of the Vault to me, Venerable Z'Har," Jelena says, a tad confused. "He's in control of the entire Sanctuary."

Would the smartest man on the planet know what the metallic rod contraption is?

"No," he says. "He has not found the Vault yet, and nor will he."

Only if he was technically inclined- this guy is a bookworm.

"You mean...that was not the true Vault?"

"Of course it isn't. It's just what everyone assumes the Vault is. Oh, the holdings there are valuable and represent the acquisition of millennia. It will be... painful to see it harmed.

"But in a wider sense, nearly all of it is information that is also housed at some other place in the Galaxy. There are... a dozen such ancient museums that exist; these merely mundane historical records have a greater presence than many think, in these other mundane places. Your own archives on Coruscant carry much of the data. The florae can be resquenced; we have the templates on record. Some data and history will be lost forever. But Volun's barbarism has already seen to that. It's not worth the risk of giving into him. They were lost the moment the Sanctuary was taken. It should never have been allowed. I tol,d them they had to activate the defences if he attacked. They would not believe they had attacked. If only I had been there when they did..."

He sighs.

Jelena eyes Miran.

"What's in the true Vault?" Jelena asks.

"Nothing that I will allow you to go near," he says. "But every second it is at risk the danger to it grows. Volun must be stopped. Now."

"So that is why you didn't want us to go to the Sanctuary," Jelena says. "What is it, Miran? I promise we will not venture near it, but I am very curious as to what it is."

"Yes... you would be, wouldn't you? Always curious. Too curious; it is your weakness. But then your leader here knows all about that."

(Oh, Andro will try to Gather that ball.)

When the ball drops afain, Andro races toward it. Gallagher's excellent Force powers aside, this wasn't a cake walk, these guys certainly had some skill at this game. He wasn't pulling any punches.

Ok thats me...
and Cue me being thourally confused...

Good news for Andro, as his higher initiative, and throwing off Varm, works well again!

Confusion gets no answers.

(New tactic. Since it's crowded in the center, and Twain and Varm are going to be all over me, I will Sidestep, then shoot. Trying to avoid the need for Force-asssted shots.)

Andro dashes out ahead of everyone else and scoops up the ball. He dodges blocks and tackles, trying for a clear shot to the goal.

If you Sidestep, you aren't going to shoot I am afraid- just one action per turn.

(Oh, that's right. My bad, I'll still take sidestep, hoping to dodge everyone.)
