USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (JEDI)- Revelations

Just a thought, but on the aspidrol issue, I would like Andro to try to check the storage areas at some point.

Varm is my prime suspect. He's a hateful killer disguised as a priest who was asking Dr. Mirani for more aspidrol for the Abbott.

There was something I was going to say about the Florian Lichen, but it has slipped my mind.

Couldn't the Force be used to help heal him, though?

"A bit, a bit about everything, I must say. I would like to know exactly what happened to the Artilliry train. That would make things so much easier..."

(Andro will find out where a storage area suitable for large ammounts of products is. He'll then make his way there between daily scheduled events to avoid suspicion.)

"I told you. Logistical problems have stopped it leaving Vhodes."

Andro, I dunno what specifically you are looking for. There is, of course, their pharmacy storage area where they keep all their drugs; I dunno if you mean that. That's off limits to clients so a definite Intrusion roll to check it out.

Gallagher, no it couldn't. Much as it would be nice if it did, the Force does not actually cure disease (though it can lead to someone being more healthy, that's not the same thing; it can no more cure the Lichen than it can close a lightsabre wound).

Aspidrol is meant to be used in operational procedures. You can't think how Varm might be wrangling out more. You DID hear Varm asking Mirani to perform another procedure, but from what you saw of the 'procedure' Varm meant, the last thing the Abbot needed was a damn stimulant!

Still, having mentioned the Force, you find yourself musing to yourself... guided, as ever, by your formidable instincts. The Synod believes in Balance and all things that you would find morally good and true- precious few organisations like that in the Galaxy. They are probably a bit preachy, but there are worst things than that. With that in mind... you don't understand why they don't get on with the Jedi. They are non-violent, it is true, but seeing the effort the Jedi go to to resolve things peacefully if at all possible, you find it impossible to believe that fair minded pacifists would have such an active problem with the Order. Not just for that.

It's odd.

"logistical? What sort of Logistical problem?"

"I can't supply them properly. Why the sudden interest?"

"I'm working on a theroy on the purpose of this entire event. Think about it, if someone wanted to stall your attack as long as possible, what would they do? Stall the Artilliry train."

"Obviously," he says. "You must have a very poor view of my capabilities as a leader."

"No, You asked what my fueled my intrest, and I had never thought about the artillary train properly. But just to clarify, the Trains have been sabatoged in some way?"

"THen I stand by my point," says Anaz. "You thought nothing of the fact that my train was so delayed. You did not consider that any General worth his salt would never allow petty difficulties to delay his war effort. It shows a lack of respect for my position that does not surprise me. Of COURSE it was sabotage. I sent half my military police force there; you heard me talking about it earlier."

Damn it! Of course- you heard him talking of Provosts earlier. Provosts are military police.

"No, I thought it was simply that, A petty delay that would be quickly worked out. But since I realize that it is sabotage now, it is evident that some greater force is at work here. This is bigger than Volun. What have your military police reoported?"

"The problem hasn't been traced. And the fact that it was patently obvious that someone else was behind all this is half the reason I came."

(great now Everyone knew but me.)
"You knew that it was bigger than Volun from the start? I must not have gotten a straight story from some people."

"No-one else wants to see it. But Volun, a man of no military or command experience, is leading an army of pacifist peasants, and has somehow turned them into a dedicated attack force that has unseated a government line that has run for millennia, on a world that has never seen public disorder. Furthermore, he managed to time his attack at the exact point that Miran was not in a position to stop it. These are not coincidences, and the sabotage of my artillery is simply the most obvious link in a long chain of evidence. Volun is receiving outside help; possibly acting for outside interests."

"Why were we not told?" Jelena asks. "We should have known, Roan..."

"Because no-one knows," says Anaz. "And I had no reason to trust you with any such thing."

"You can't be serious..." Jelena says.

(jelena, we need to talk.... I'll PM you later... and you REALLY REALLY need MSN or AIM or SOMETHING)

(Sent you a PM)

"I'm perfectly serious," he says, evenly.
