Sorry about that, I had first thought about doing the first mission but I realized if I only play to my streangths, I won't be developing or experiancing anything new while I play here. If it's a problem, though, I don't mind going back to my first choice.

You are very welcome on any of the missions. Just noting that with all the Renegades effectively on the Combat mission as well, it will now end up with opposition more like Arminium or Droben. That's not a problem for you as you haven't played before; I just wanted to warn people in case they felt it repetitive.

"You will have to forgive me," says Duguid, "but not being actually on Cassilis myself, I am not totally up to date with the state of negotiations or what concessions from either side have been offered. But I understand a new deal is currently in place that should be the end of the matter."

-

Ok, is the Spiridos mission all ready to go?

"I'm not sure Master Marcus, Maybe a commercial liner, we don't want too much attention"

Your mission is actually very official, Vlad. Your approach is up to you, but you are spearheading the official Republican effort to 'deal with' the Cult.

In fact, the security co-ordinator on Alzarius is waiting for you there.

(I'm ready to go whenever Gallagher is.)

"I'm thinking the opposite, we should go and make a very clear statement to those Pirates, what about taking the largest ship we can take just to prove our point."

"Wa-.. Wait!" Arken's voice rang out through the hall as he burst through a pair of closed doors leading to where Vlad and Marcus had been standing. His chest heaving with every breath, obviously exhausted from his sudden sprint through the temple.

"Thank goodness I found you.. I was afraid you two were going to leave without me.." A playful smiled slipped over Arkens lips as he finally stopped to catch his breath just next to Vlad and Marcus, his hand slipping out from the leangth of his trench coat in greating to them both. "I am Arken.. I was assigned to assist you in your duties."

"I am Master Marcus and this is Vlad, some company couldn't hurt, since I have not worked with you before I will make it clear to you now." ... little pauze... (With an authoritive voice) Marcus starts walking from right to left

"1) I will demand nothing less than total obedience. I do not wish to give an order twice.
2) You will address me as Master Marcus, I have proven myself worthy of that title in the councils opinion, so you will respect it.
3) Even if other people call me Marcus that does not mean you have that privellege.
4) You will respect every living thing we come across on this mission, That includes the most twisted dark side minds, the most evil of creatures. And that certainly includes politicians and bureaucrats. (in a lower tone of voice) There is no room for personal likings on missions." Stops walking around and looks straight at Arken "Now boy do you think you can accept those rules?"

"Uh.." Arkens face became as pale as a ghost as his mood suddenly shifted from care free to terrified. Having been his first official mission outside of the temples grounds, he was expecting a little room to breath.. obviously that was not that case.

His shoulders rolled back along his neck instantly, as his stance straightend and he stood fully erect before him now, much as a soldier would. "Yes, Master Marcus.. I have no problem following those guidelines."

"Very well than Lad" Marcus extends his hand "Good to have you with us. I don't bite..." With a small grin "....atleast not too often"

Btw ush is Vilpa coming?

Arken smiled slightly and nodded, his hand reaching out to shake Marcus' extended hand. His attention shifted between Marcus and Vlad, now, wondering what was going to happen next. "Uh.. have you two decided on how we are going to get to the outter rim, yet?"

"We were just discussing, Vlad opted for a low key approach. But since Master Windu expressed the fact that we are the spearhead of the republic to deal with this thread I think we should make a grand entrance. I'm considering taking the biggest ship available."

"May I make a suggestion, Master? I know many large Republic shipments move near or through the Outter Rim, most having large escorts to accompany them.. Maybe if we talked to the commander of one of those ships, we could convince him to supply us with some of their escourt ships for the duration of the mission. It would be quicker than trying to scrounge up some ships not already on patrol."

"Good idea, it would make it seem even more impressive. If we can make it work tho, But we would only need the escort ships for a while, can't keep them the entire mission."

"I agree, Master. With any luck the Cultists will back down at the first sign of the Republic ships and their services will not be needed for very long." He smiled a bit as he turned to nod to some youngling students passing by, before turning his attention back to the pair. "Do you agree, Vlad?"

"I doubt they will back down at the first sign of a repbulic ship. But I prefere to do my battles the civilized way."

"Yeah... After that I think we should cause as much attention on Alzarius, come throu some bars and info's and ask some questions. Something which the Cult would notice about, we need them to know were serious about this thing, coming at them with full power, but Master Marcus is right. The Cult is too strong and fierce to be afraid of a republic ship, they have been a little too daring lately, attacking ships so lately."

"I doubt the Cultists will be so brave when the ship they attack can fire back.. But perhaps you are right. Maybe a happy medium is needed, having the Republic ships waiting in the background while we travel on a civilian vessel.. If their trend continues, I am sure it won't be long before they take an intrest in us. And then we will have solid evidence of their actions, and the Senate will be much more willing to devote the resources needed to beat them back into the Outter Rim. Even three Jedi cannot take on an entire army on their lonesome."

Actually, that liner was armed. The Cult is a military power. It has a professional military training regime.

The Senate will give you no resources- they have none to give even if they would. The Senate commands no military forces outside the Senatorial Guard and the Jedi. You will have the use of the forces available in that sector belonging to the sovereign worlds there.

It's not a matter of proof- you don't need any.

And of course Vilpa is coming! His place is by your side.

"We don't need to take on a whole army. We need to harm them as much as possible, so they would know we're meaning it.Then they would back out of stealing technology from Republican ships.
