(He does, actually, at 7...)

Then I lie! In that case, he can try and pick the lock, unless he has another idea (or fails the roll).

(No, I'll try to pick the lock, as long as I sense no one around.)

+2 gets you in... a long stairway down...

Ok, I want to go to the negociations...
(that it just so i can't forget like last time. I'm declaring that now)
Hmm I have a feeling that I should be asking Kuylen something else. But I forget...Yay me...

BTW, even if you were too busy to go last time, you keep forgetting that you can send Sunda to go watch that kind of thing and report back to you. He's not learning much right now.

But noted! You shall be there. Any other questions for folks before the day ends?

What you were intending to do was find out a bit ABOUT Kuylen (either of them).

*Smacks self twice*
Well I'm not learning much either!! Its a mutual thing.

"It seems that for disowning your cousin you sure have kept track ove him over the years."

Andro gets by the locking mechanism and slips inside. He sees the long stairs descending before him. He quietly and carefully shuts the door behing him. He takes a second to let the Force flow through him, adn begins the descent.

Your Senses, being somewhat imprecise, are getting very distorted now, Andro- beduse you are sensing a LOT of life down there. Of course, that's because there are a lot of living things down there. Barely alive, you guess, and you can't sense any minds, (too far under, you assume) but it's enough to throw you off. You don't think there is anyone down there, and you certainly can't hear anyone.

Down, down, down...

And then you are into the Tombs of Tranquil Repose. A morbid term, but an oddly appropriate one. Five levels, each stretching out as far as the eye can see, each filled with row upon row upon row of large 'coffins', not unlike the sensory deprivation pods you were in earlier. These work on a similar technique, you assume- the Spiridonians seem to be good at this kind of thing.

But each unit is not in isolation; various wires and tubes from each connect to monitors on each unit and also connect to a central hub, which you assume is the control area. The control area occupies all five stories, with balconies on each level.

The sight is quite overwhelming. And there is almost no artificial light down here, so each sarcophogus is lit only by the meagre light from its own readouts. It's all a bit spooky.

"Oh, not at all," says Anaz. "I have absolutely no idea what he did with his life, even before his absconscion from the Order. If you hadn't come here, I wouldn't even have thought of him at all. Just an idle curiosity. Always interesting to look into your own soul, I suppose."

Ok, a small list of things you were wondering about earlier, Roan:

Should Anaz really be THAT similar to Larios?
Why do the Boyar dislike the Jedi? You've found out what the Z'Har's problem is, but not these guys.
Does Anaz know anything about the Vault?
What made the Venerable Z'Har suspicious in the first place?

It's difficult to talk to Miran right now, though, but you can still get some answers from Anaz and Skorzeny.

"Look into your own soul? You speak of him as if he were extension of yourself, but he's just a cousin..."

Andro pauses a moment at the sight before him, and stopps trying to sense individual presences; it was making him dizzy. He ventures on to the first sarcophogus, and examines it to see if there is anything he can learn about how they actually work. After that, he continues on to the central control area, to try and decipher if aspidrol is actually being used here.

First sarcophogus- details on the right. A man, 47, suffering from Partrex Syndrome, frozen 13 years ago. A small button can be pressed which runs a short holovid that bios his life and in which he makes a few personal statements.

Biorhythms are steady and regular- including the stimulated brain activity. There is an incoming chemcial tube, where the aspidrol is fed in from.

Andro studies the man's resting place. He isn't sure why, but he is moved to watch the man's bio holo. He presses the button.

Tranquil Repose is hardly a piece of charity. It's phenomenally expensive, and you aren't going to see the common people here. This guy was a businessman, and in his bio- surroudned by family- he talks about how his visions and goals for a new corporate future may yet be realised in some future time, and how much he is looking forward to his voyage into the as-yet unknown.

It's all a bit slick and glossy, like everything on this world.

You feel sad, oddly.

Andro took in the man's holo. A new corporate future, hmph. He didn't think things could get more corporate in many parts of this galaxy already. He left the man's sarcophogus as he found it and moved on to the conrtol center. He didn't know what he hoped to find, but if aspidrol is indeed used in such large quantities for these people, he might just find a dead end.

Not being a medic, most of this stuff is gibberish to you, Andro. But from what you can tell, everything seems in order. Vast amounts are indeed being used.

Unless some of these sarcophogi are empty, of course, because this machine clearly lists all of them in use. Still, that'd be very clumsy if that's the way; any old medical orderly might notice it. Nonetheless, you may have to check this place out in full. You should be able to sense if they are occupied.

(Andro will roll up his sleeves and get to work then, starting at the top and working his way down.)

That IS creepy.

It's very cold in here, Andro. That's rather obvious now you think about it, but even so...

It takes a good couple of hours to search this place. It's running at full occupation. You idly watch some more of the bios for the odd piece of confiration; they are all independant and genuine.

And you still feel depressed after seeing them.

Andro stops and lans against a nearby wall to gather his thoughts. He had fully expected this place to be at least partially empty. He refuses to believe that this is a dead end though. Perhaps a look at the records, maybe there is some unexpected activity.

(I want to look at the incoming and outgoing patient/client records, if I can. Maybe they are using these people as frozen mules.)
