(Galder stands near wreck of Epirean fortress)
"Whoops..."
(turns around to figure behind him)
"Mesa sorry!"
"Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains..." says Zombie Kuylen
But actually no music specific for the parts grab, it's not a plot point.
So. Shopping precinct- let's go. Actions, intents, what people in which order and so on.
The day Galder sounds like Jar Jar is the day that Galder meets Kuylen again? 😱 I should have known sooner!
How about this...
For Rianna-Rand duo, Rand approaches the vendor and engages them in conversation. Then, while they're busy chatting, the Vendor suddenly hears a pop or dropping part that's highly distracting to the left or right, opposite of Rianna, so that Rianna can then make a quite Intrusion grab of what we need. Then, when she stashes it unseen, Rianna comes up to Rand and kind of makes a 'hey, let's go see what's over there! I think I found what we need...' excuse to bugger off, moving to the next one.
Then, Gallador-Dak can do a different tactic. When Dak approaches, he might talk to the person or just kind of hang around, while Gallador makes Distractions off to the side so that the Vender isn't paying attention to Dak, who can then slip something into his robes or whatever.
Both groups can time it correctly so that it doesn't looks suspicious that Rand and Dak keep walking into the men's restroom to deposit the parts to Xorn.
Okay.
Xorn and Xavier are going to be hiding in the bathroom, so we have somewhere to stash the parts until we need to bring them back to the ships. Rand and Rianna will start from one side of the market, Gallador and Dak from the other; Rianna and Dak will use their Intrusion skills to steal the parts while Rand and Gallador distract security, Rianna will also use Distract. Dunno what Galder's up to, maybe he can keep watch or something, and help move the parts back to the ship when we're done.
And Rex basically posted the same thing but with more specific detail.
Galder isn't doing anything, so Rianna can pass her "aquisitions" to him and he can dump them in our drop point. That way, Galder isn't as likely to kill somebody and attract attention.
Anyone else we can spare to rendezvous with will make us less suspicious than one person continually entering the same bathroom.
Sounds good to Rand. I suppose we're just waiting for Gallador to approve. And Xavier.
So we have a different person drop off the parts each time? Like, we pass the parts off to the first person to go in, then go for more grabs and pass it to the second person to go in...
Wow, I hope we can whip up something like this for the finale.
*chokes to death*
ahem 😛....it's all nice and dandy, however..i cannot seem to think that you've somehow forgotten that.....THE PARTS ARE NOT A MANDATORY OBJECTIVE!!
we're complicating the main job if we stray on other activities....we were at least supposed to be divided in these tasks...gallador...you were helping me with the generator....what happened. we have some time before they come for the samples again...and it'd be nice to have some progresss in our mission goal (main goal anyway) by then....if not gone.
We're doing all the spare parts grabbing before you and Gallador (preferably with Galder and someone intimidating in tow) go off to meet your new chums.
Besides, we all want that extra xp. 😛
I didn't see Ush answer me regarding there being ships for planetary shipping of shield generators, so I was waiting on that. My idea was that we send off our ships before we leave (excluding Tanic and my ship, which'll be elsewhere) and steal a ship used for transfering the bigger loads (generators) from planet to planet. That way, even if we do start something nasty, they don't have our transponder codes locked. Only the ship that we can dump later.
I do recall that the cities also have shield generators protecting them. Would they have to be lowered to allow us to fly out, like in ESB, when they lower the Rebel shielding to let the transports zip off the planet?
The shield generators are not actually continuously on! That would be ruinously expensive.
(Before you ask, the one on Epireus, like the whole base, is powered geo-thermally).
Ok, the shopping trip is starting! Ok, I am ruling you need to pull this thing off five times to get what you need for the xp. Venue one is a technical supply stall out in the market, rather than being a building. I'll see how you do this one in detail. It was the only place you can find that has some of the more obscure parts you need.
So, market stall, amongst several dozen other market stalls, very crowded area- complete with a lot of stalls being built into the stone branches above, along which the Dugs happily handwalk- and probably the further from the toilets in the precinct. And adatpations to the plan?
