USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (DARK SIDE)- The Way Back

Can I assume that Gallador is with Tanic?

"We must be careful not to catch too much attention. I am sure that warehouse has some protection, and other people might be not as amenable as this Gren." -Gallador at least stops being focused on his vision, opening back to the Living Force.

'Warehouse' is an odd term. This is the inside oif a vast holloweed-out petrified tree, with hollows in the 'bark' leading inside, where Dug workers happily scramble up and down and back and forth.

About half a dozen shield generators are piled up down below, securely fastened. Workers are bring all kinds of technical bumf around.

Tanic will look about for any visible signs of transport, specifically any sort of ship dock.

I guess you could be with Tanic, Gallador!
"Don't worry, we'll deal with that if it happens."

the "Intergalactic Home Depot" we're stealing the parts from.

Or at least something like that, it's a generic parts warehouse sorta thing.

oh man. i won't even begin on how or why you thought that idea would be useful 😗 😛

Easy. Parked nearby are enormous grav transports, shaped to be able to move them around.

Eh, not what I had in mind. Try to find out if they have interplanetary shipping starships.

Those transports, how guick they are, and how easy to operate? Will one person be enough?

Also, Gallador will try to detect if there are any lifeforms inside the warehouse. Can we spot any defences or guards nearby?

Tanic is specifically look for spaceships, hopefully of freighter size. Also, are the grav transports clearly only for ferrying the generators to the 'official' star port.

As well as that, he'd like to check out the grav transports - how many drivers are needed? Is there space for passengers? - How do the generators get onto the transports?

I just thought of a rather large problem with Gallador being with Tanic;

If they check back after the heist, the people who turned up at the wrong time will be the same people who turned up to nick the generator.

As in, Gallador can't take part in the heist now, or he can't be at the depot...

Gallador- plenty of lifeforms! Dug workers everywhere, taking advantage of the 720 degree movement. Plenty of security also. Anyone with Pilot could drive one of the grav transports. But no, no spaceships; this is not a port. And they are pretty big; everyone could fit, atop the generator if nothing else.

Heist plans stalled?

I'm not sure how much of it depended on Gallador, but also quite important - do we have any ships of freighter size? Or at least of carrying the generator?

I believe yes, one of you has a ship large enough to carry it.

As from next Episode, ships will be formalised in the rules, that does lock you in to someone choosing that though!

Well, Tanic's ship is not a freighter, and Galder's is being used as bait.

So I think it is only Xavier? who has a ship...

Maybe you guys are giong to have to consider zipping back with the generator. Could you perhaps kill the people who we're dealing with quietly? Then just drive back?

Yes xavier does have a ship of freighter size.

Can the ship only land at starport? I think not in Star Wars. How quickly can it land and start? Can it levitate over the ground? Would it be possible to take the generator with it and directly leave the planet? I remember we could jump the ship when Helkin was killed.

We've been well past this. The ship can land anywhere, but it can't load heavy equipment without port facilities.

Tanic's role in this plan is alredy decided, but we still need to work out how we're moving the generator. I suggest a bluff for as long as possible, one person getting the Dugs to load the generator as if that's what they're meant to be doing, then, while still talking to the criminals, someone else drives off with it.

Hopefully by this point you guys will have managed to seperate criminals and generator, so you can kill them without anyone seeing (with blasters, not sabres!). Then we all meet back at the starport, you load up the generator, Tanic pulls his jack-in-the-box, and we all go back to the base...

You heisting guys are going to get caught in a moment if you don't tell me how you are getting out. Don't blame me because one of your chatty Mind Trick guys has gone somewhere else and the other doesn't want to do it- that's meant to be something you cover in planning.

Find a Plan B or you've lost this one. I'm not going to let it stall the game.

I'll see if I can come up with anything....
